Jelly Wow Hydrating Non-Sticky Lip Oil Moisturizing Plumping Lip Gloss - Berry Involved

This is not a dupe for my long lost beloved Skinmarket lip gloss. It is, however, the closet product I’ve tried that delivers a similar experience. The formula is unique among the drugstore glosses and lip oils and clickpen lip butters. It’s very much “jelly”, almost like a silicone gel texture. But here’s the best part: it’s thicc without being sticky. The coconut smell is pretty mellow and there’s not really a flavor. The texture helps it stay in place when my lips are chapped and I don’t want to keep reapplying a barrier product every time I take a sip or bite or touch my lip in some capacity.

Okay product, smell is faint and pleasant but has no taste. Good lip moisturizer for price and good texture. Stood up for long hours despite licking my lip.

This product is OK - SHEGLAM Jelly Wow Hydrating Non-Sticky Lip Oil Moisturizing Plumping Lip Gloss. I would not recommend this product for multiple reasons. These reasons include the longevity of the product, the lack of taste, the very faint smell, and the poor design. However, the thickness of the product is decent; the product is not too sticky at all, the colors are pretty (albeit, probably not noticeable on your lips), the size of the lip gloss is standard, and I believe the functionality is lacking - they seem to hydrate my lips well (but not for very long). I will explain below, starting with the negatives and then the positives. CONS: First of all, the longevity of the product is poor. I would assume lip oils do not last very long in general, but if you're looking for a long-lasting product for your lips, this is not it. The oil stays on my lips for a few hours, and that would be a generous estimate. That's if I don't rub my lips together, eat or drink anything, or lick or touch them for any reason. If I do any of those things, this product may only last an hour or less. The hydration itself isn't long-lasting either; if the product wears off, my lips go back to feeling how they typically do. Typically I drink a lot of water, so my lips are not chapped, but if I did have chapped lips, these do not provide the support for healthy lips. Second, I noticed how this product has no taste. As you can see from my product images, I bought four variants of this lip oil - except for the blue one, which was out of stock at my time of purchasing. None of these variants I purchased had any taste. It would make sense for a lip oil or chapstick, or even a lip scrub, to have taste. Reviews seem to be contradicting in this aspect, but I can safely say that after purchasing the pink variant twice - both having no taste - that it was not just the batch I received. Third, each tube of lip gloss only lasts about a week and a half if you use it regularly. This is not the worst part, however. One of the major drawbacks is the design of the tube and the applicator. If you look at my product images, you'll see that the applicator does not reach the bottom of the tube, so eventually you'll be stuck with some product on the bottom that you're unable to reach - even if you flip the tube over, the oil stays in place at the bottom. I got around this by using a Q-Tip, but applying lip oil with a Q-Tip is unpleasant and may leave cotton fibers on your lips. PROS: Now, for the positives. I enjoy looking at these glass see-through lip gloss tubes. The colors are vibrant, as shown in my images. They do not appear on my lips, however, so this product is merely just for slight hydration and shine. My lips also feel smooth after applying the product, and I enjoy the applicator brush since it is larger and soft. Overall, I would not recommend this product. It may be a good stocking stuffer or decent gift for a child, but the functionality is lacking.

Love this product. It is not sticky at all, but gives my lips a nice nourishing feeling with a pretty shine. So many lip glosses are sticky and it ruins it for me. This one does the job!

Love the feeling of it the only thing is when you shut it up some of the gel comes over the top so always feels a bit sticky
