Stainless Tea Strainer w/Wooden Handle

Not for all purposes, but well made.

I love the product but it was shipped collapsed and arrived slightly damaged. It's still usable and I will keep using it though!

Item came bent and dented, the box was smashed and looked like it had been through a war zone. Very dissatisfied but I needed a strainer.

This is a great strainer for tea leaves or other fine-particle foods in the kitchen. It is quite sturdy; the photo here shows a handle attachment that is not as strong as the one I got -- in my case, the handle is attached by a thick-gauge wire that wraps around the circumference of the strainer. Since I bought mine offline at Chef Restaurant Supply in NYC it may be a newer or an older model than the one photographed here. Mine weighs 80 grams and is 80 mm diameter by about 83 mm deep.Most complaints about this item are from shipping damage, so I recommend trying to buy it offline at a restaurant supply store or similar outfit like Chef Restaurant Supply. You'll not only avoid shipping damage, but also probably pay a lower price.
