Ravensburger Scotland Yard Sherlock Homes Edition Family Strategy Board Game for 2 to 6 Players - Kids and Adults Age 8 Years +

Choose to order this one in Sherlock Holmes edition, as it allows to play the original version as well as another choice to play my favourite detective character. Placed order last night and received it with swift delivery. I am happy to see the nice quality of this board game. Can’t wait to play the special edition.

Bought this game after a little research as it was discounted to a very reasonable price and I am always keen to find easy to learn but 'thinky' enough games to play with the family (adults from late 30s to 70s some of whom are not as board game enthusiastic as others!) This game was a hit! The hidden movement mechanism is simple to learn yet effective and the fact that most players work as a team against the Moriarty player meant that even those participants who were perhaps not as keen could pick the rules up easily from others and get carried along to the point of actually enjoying themselves! As long as Moriarty and at least one of the other players have a solid understanding to begin with others can easily pick it up in-game, without lengthy and perhaps tedious explanations. Enjoyed by all, though we did only play the Sherlock Holmes variant. The game also includes the traditional game variant, so if you fancy that version then there is more value still to be had. Highly recommended!

Fun fairly quick game, good for adults mainly or teenagers in my opinion bought it for my daughter for a present for Christmas overall good design and great value for the price

Excellent family game and it's great that is has the 2 modes in it, the classic Scotland Yard and the Sherlock Holmes one with extra rules.

This can be played with just two people and it really is an interesting game even with just two, probably even better with three or four.

Played over Christmas. At first we thought we needed a few stiff drinks to cope with the rules but once you understand the basics it is easy enough to get going. The Sherlock holmes victorian feeling is quite atmospheric. It is hard to catch moriarty but we have played three times and got him once. Like all ravens burger games this is well made everything pops out perfectly

Bought as a gift. Heavy box for a board game.bi haven't opened it as it's a gift, but there's some damage to the box leading me to believe it's been opened before then resealed as the damage is under the tape to keep the box closed.

Nice game. Makes great gift. Looks and feels like quality made, with attention to details. Rules are a bit difficult to learn in one go, especially for children, but its a great team game
