This works great! If I was a dude, I'd say it was easy to install directly onto wood. But I'm not a dude, I got dainty little lady fingers and had to take breaks to screw them into wood. I got tired! I was also impatient and didn't wait for the hubs to do the install himself. Still looks good, strong, pain in the rear to cut the wire with wire cutters (unless I was a man), and easy to follow instructions. - The Wife

We used this to string a wire across a large wall to hang ornaments when we ran out of room on the tree. We aren’t the strongest bunch, so I am sure would have gotten the wire tighter, but it looks cool. It shifting to a picture-hanging item. Strong, easy to install, will hold a lot (more if you have stronger hands). I have a second one to put up elsewhere!

Flawed design. The screw that threads into the wall is just too short. If your drywall is even SLIGHTLY thicker than 1/2" the screw just barely goes into the stud. It doesn't matter how good you are at finding a stud, this won't thread in deep enough so over time it will pull out of the wood. You need more thread engagement into the wood than this can provide. Simply is NOT worth the cost savings over the Ikea one that allows you to use your own screws. Will quit working and your curtains WILL fall down, if you ever have to open and close them.

I bought a curtain rod I loved, and then realized I wanted to layer the curtains in our dining room... This wire set made that possible! I won't lie, I had the set lying around for awhile because it seemed intimidating. However, once I decided to do it, it was SUPER simple. You WILL need to have something to cut the cables with (as a heads up). The only issue I had mounting it, was with the first piece you mount into the piece that mounts into the wall. The screw should only go so far (enabling you to turn it many angles), but the screw on one of mine would go all the way in. It's not a huge deal, but when you're installing the wire under an existing curtain rod, it makes things a little difficult. That aside- assembly was very smooth sailing. Instructions were clear. It is very light weight and sturdy; we have only had to adjust it once. The look of it is fine, it's sleek. However, since we use it under a curtain rod, and our sheer curtain covers the pieces, you don't even see it. It was definitely worth the price, and we will order more if the need arises.

I put 3 not because the item didn't "complete the task" but because it's quite hard to setup. But I got what I wanted: high cable tension to hold a light curtain and it cost me 10$. Here's what you need to make it work: -Cutting plier (ideally a precision one) and a metal lime. - A regular plier to twist and tighten the cap. - Lubricant (mineral oil or any workshop grease but literally Canola oil from kitchen will work) You'll need to cut the cable length and trim it really good to make the end smooth. Then coat it in oil to allow the cable end to glide inside the cap. If you skip that part you won't be able to tighten the cable. You'll also need to lube the wall anchor thread to ease the tightening of the cable. And you'll need pliers to screw the cap into the anchor. For high tension cable what did work for me was to set the cable length to fit the gap between the cap when the cap are barely screwed into the anchor (literally between half a turn and 1 turn). Then I got the rest of the tension by screwing gradually each cap. Couple of turns on the right cap then on the left cap until both caps tighten the cable enough. Bit tedious to adjust but for 10$ I wasn't expecting top notch quality either. Would have been a 5star review of I had a small metal lime and the grease packed with better instructions

Easy to install. Used it to hang curtains outside by pool. Worked well.

I’ll never buy a curtain rod again! I bought these for my daughter’s room. I love that you can hang them from the wall, between two columns, or the ceiling depending on your needs. They take a little figuring out the first time, but go up quickly once you get the hang of it. They’ve been up about 2 months and have held up to my teenager - so I’m confident that they were a good buy!!

Super accroches qui permet d’accrocher un rideau près du plafond. Attention toutefois à ne pas mettre des rideaux trop lourds sinon cela risque de se détendre. Pour retendre, c’est très facile il suffit de visser

Die Montage war denkbar einfach. Man merkt an einigen Stellen, dass die ganzen Teile qualitativ nicht so hochwertig sind und nicht allzu gut in einander greifen. Aber es war in 15min montiert und hält (bisher). Für den Preis eine Empfehlung.
