It was nice to know that each rope was sectioned off into three sections, which worked well for covering the wound. I will continue to use this product. It is as good as what I got from the hospital.

Works well on my leg wound

I ordered and received these Niceful Alginate Wound Dressing, 4" X 4" Patches. These are described as sterile and highly absorbent wound dressings. They are latex-free.These dressings arrived with 10 dressings individually wrapped in the box of 10. These are described as soft and flexible and ideal for exudative (draining) wounds. Alginate dressings form a gel that helps protect the wound and minimize pain. Alginate dressings tend to be one of the basics when it comes to wound care.I use Santyl on the wound I'm treating and am unable to use a silver dressing with it as the two are not compatible. Alginate dressings are compatible with Santyl for the most part.These wound dressings apply easily and the individual dressings can be easily cut to fit the size of the wound. I typically use medical scissors, though I have used traditional scissors. These are fairly soft and absorbent and fit over my wound well. I do find them a little harder to remove than some alginate dressings, however, they don't fall apart which is nice. These are not painful to remove.These are Chinese-made dressings distributed through Winner Medical. I like that the box has clear information on product features, scope of application, and other information. These are single-use bandages.For those needing an affordable alginate wound dressing option that's still effective, these dressings are a terrific option. I wouldn't call them the best I've ever used, but they're affordable, effective, and I would easily use them again.

It works wonderful

Seems to be helping, at least I hope it is. I had surgery back in May and the incision opened up in August due to 5 spitting stitches in the area. Was advised to use these or just the calcium ones to help absorb drainage & keep the area moist so it can heal from the inside out. These seem to be lasting me awhile. I only need to change once a day or every other day. I cut it down to fit exactly where it’s opened because it can macerate the skin that isn’t damaged if it rubs against it (or so I heard). Then I top it off with a folded gauze & paper medical tape. I decided to get the silver calcium because of its antibacterial properties. But I’ve used plain calcium ones too.

Great product. Seems to be helping with a fungating tumor.

Have been using these calcium alginate dressings on a wound that slow to heal as recommended by a Dr at a wound care clinic. The size is perfect to be able to cut to the size of the wound. The area is free of any infection and is getting a lot smaller. Also a great price too!
