Where are these fire starters manufactured? Would like to know since the description says they are 100% natural.

Thank you for your interest! The fire sterters are made from pine tree. Tree bark is rolled in such rolls as you can see on the photo and then these rolls are dipped into natural wax. We don't add any chemicals! Fire starters are made in Ukraine. We will be happy to answer any answers you have.

These fire starters can be used only for the charcoal bbq grills or can be used for fireplaces too? how many pieces should i use?

I have not used in fireplace but I see no reason they wouldn’t work. They last about 5-10 minutes. In my Egg I use one and it works fine. I would try 2 in fireplace maybe 6 inches apart.

Is this better than wax cubes?

haven't tried wax cubes. These work really well in wood burning stove. One starter and just a bit of kindling. Leaves no residue.

Works every time!

I absolutely love these! Inexpensive and easy to use. We use them to start our wood stove fires in our house. No smell and way better than storing a bunch of newspaper!

They start fires, retain their shape, and have a good burn time

These were required to light my pizza oven, and they recommended this composition over the ones that are hard and smooth, for food safety reasons. Now that daily papers are no longer available in rural areas, we don't have enough paper to start our fireplace. So these have moved from a nice to have to something closer to an essential. I cut them in half, or in thirds for the stove because there is other fuel present.
