Y’all, this chopper is amazing! I had a pampered chef chopper for many years and it had finally broken. So I took a chance on this brand and let me tell you that I have been totally impressed and happy about it’s performance! The plastic part that attaches to the blades can be a little tricky sometimes when assembling it, but nothing you can’t handle! Hands down, I’d buy it again!!

This chopper is a big improvement over the last one we had. The problem we had with our old chopper was that the bottom half cracked and broke where it attached to the top half. The bottom half will be stressed if you have to bang on it to chop harder things like walnuts. This chopper has thicker plastic so it should last longer. Cleaning it is pretty the same as others. Overall we're pretty happy with it.

This chopper is great except for breakage of the lower clear plastic housing unit. I’ve had this problem with the pampered chef chopper also. Was thinking I could just get this as a replacement part, but they don’t offer that. When I reached out to manufacturer, chopper is under warranty and I am eligible for replacement, but they won’t ship to the USA. Greatly disappointed!

This one is the best one I've used. It's easy to clean and perfect for chopping

Great on harder veggies like peppers and onions. Seems to have an issue with tomatoes and seems to mush them. I do like the rounded top so I can hit it rather hard without getting hurt. Does cut everything up well but sometimes large pieces get stuck and you have to work them out.

My Pampered Chef chopper finally wore out along the edges where the top screwed onto the base. I tried an Oxo, but it broke almost immediately as the plastic was thin. I was nervous about ordering this, but thought I'd give it a shot. And I'm glad I did! It's almost identical to the Pampered Chef chopper, but costs a lot less. Some people have commented on the "trickiness" of aligning the cutter, but again, it's identical to the way the Pampered Chef chopper aligns.

It cleans easy, stores easy.

WE once had a fantastic pampered chief food chopper. After 10years finally broke. We purchased a Leifheit Food Chopper and have had nothing but frustration . Putting it together the first time seemed like was a good fit . Then after that it was down hill. The top plastic pieces wouldn't stay together. It was very frustrating to use. We attempted to put it together several times. When you tried to chop food the top two pieces would fall apart. If you don't want to be frustrated DO NOT Purchase this chopper.I am also going to try and get my money back! They should of least make the two top plastic pieces solid and twist on.You have to snap the two top pieces then try to place the top part to the handle if it doesn't fall apart several times
