Q: Is this more durable than the Nike Tanjun? Would it be a good shoe for walking/hiking on dirt/gravel trails at parks and such?

Not sure if it's better than Tanjun. But I've used um for hiking, running and playing at the park with my dog. They are very comfortable and light. I love them.

Q: Is squeaking a problem?

Yes, for nike revolution 6, many have a squeaking problem. Turns out they are shoe farts! To fix the squeaking, take out the insole and place talc powder in both shoes. Squeak be gone. I was almost going to throw these away. Thankfully i found the answer on reddit
