Don’t listen to negative comments, this case is well constructed easy to put on perfect protection.

First of all, this is a relatively chunky case! Not in an extreme "rugged protection" way, but if you're looking for a slim fit case, this isn't it. It makes an already big phone just that little bit bigger.The build quality is quite rigid and sturdy and it fits the phone snugly, so I don't doubt it will offer decent drop protection. That said, the material has a slightly cheap, plasticky feel, which is a bit disappointing given the price. The case has a textured surface though it's still a bit slippy - more so than other cases I've owned - and I could see it sliding off the edge of a table or desk, given enough of a jolt.I think it looks good. Despite the bit of extra heft, there's something aesthetically pleasing about a black case on a black iPhone where it accentuates its sleekness and great design.In terms of functionality it has separate buttons to match with those on the iPhone, which work perfectly and feel satisfying to press (ie. they're not squishy!). The MagSafe connection is firm and stable, and I have no issues plugging in a charging cable.Overall, a good case for the iPhone 14 Pro Max that offers solid protection. I'd recommend it if the size and grip caveats above don't concern you.

As someone who has used this case for 7 months, I dropped my phone for the first time today at a very low height and the back completely smashed

Dropped my phone once and camera has cracked.The glue on the side panel has come away from the back panel after only 9 months.

Ich nutze schon seit Jahren die Otterbox Hüllen für unsere iPhones. Wir haben alle in der Familie und im Betrieb die Strada Klapphüllen. Nun habe ich für mein 14ProMax aber eine Autohalterung mit MagSafe montiert und die Strada unterstützt den Magneten leider nicht. Also habe ich für viel Geld die Otterbox Fre gekauft. Hält am MagSafe, ist stabil und Wasserdicht und Staubfest, aber sieht auch nach Baustelle aus. Für mich als Schreibtischtäter, der sein iPhone in der Jeanstasche transportiert musste es etwas anderes sein. Das habe ich nach einigen Fehlversuchen wieder bei Otterbox gefunden. Die Symetry+ hält an der Autohalterung, ist VIEL griffiger als die glatten Plastikteile der Wettbewerber und trägt nicht allzu dick auf. Dazu noch eine Panzerglasfolie und fertig ist der rundum Schutz.
