Shimano ST-5700 105 Hoods Pair (Black, Road)

Fit my Trek Madone 2.1 (2013). It has Shimano 105. You have to make sure the shape of the hood secure pin that it is a long strip and not a round button because Shimano has many revision of 105. You can find the model number on the brake as well.

I wish I had replaced my originals sooner. My 2013 road bike has been babied since I bought it new. The hood were starting to get gummy and these puppies were an exact match. Installation was fairly easy after watching a few YouTube videos. I couldn't be happier, feels like new again.

Perfect replacement for my scratched up ones from a couple of crashes. However, be sure to buy the nameplates and also the 5mm or 10mm lever adjusting blocks for the "new" look if those are damaged from crashes also (I didn't figure this out until afterwards, and have them on order now - very simple to replace and can be done with hoods and name plates in place). While it took some muscle, it was not as hard replacing these as I thought. They are made of very tough rubber. I just used a cotton swap to coat the inside with rubbing alcohol for some lubrication, and had at it. Once in place everything fit perfectly. Note that the exterior will show some white powder stuff on them after put on, but this is typical from stressing/stretching rubber.
