Worked fine after programming

Remote functionality is defective and cannot be programmed. Professional locksmith indicated that the key is the issue.

The key arrived on time and in excellent condition., just like the original Honda key. I had the key cut and programmed and all is well.

At the end, the key and remote got programed. And I know that the key itself is a good deal. But it's better for the key to be delivered without a battery, instead of including a cheap battery that will trow you off, during the remote programing!

The back of my original key broke at the screw hole, this replacement key was exactly the same. I was able to just pop the back of the replacement onto the front of my original key and it fit perfectly! If get the replacement, I don’t know how easy the chip is to transfer, and you would have to get the replacement keyed, and I couldn’t find a way to transfer the metal key part to the replacement.

I would give zero star if I can. I had very bad experience to purchase this product. It cost me more than $200 to make my key fob working. First thing, I purchased this one and want to reprogram key fob by myself. This key fob doesn’t work afterwards and also disabled my car code. I have to call locksmith service to program it for me. The technician can’t program this key fob either, he said this key doesn’t work and I have to buy key fob from locksmith. Finally, I have to pay totally $220 for this useless key fob and locksmith service. I don’t recommend to anyone to buy this product. You just waste your money

4/5 stars only because it’s thicker than the OEM from factory so it doesn’t exactly fit like a glove but it does the job. I have no complaints ! It definitely feels a lot better than the OEM key fob. I got it cut and programmed for $111
