Cable works well as a simple USB C connection device for an external SSD. Though not used for charging or camera input, I would expect it would perform just as well. Right angle feature keeps the cable close to the laptop body and so helps in managing cable clutter on the desk top

So I bought some LED Strip lights to put up on our patio soffits. Then I realized there was no way to get the light started up where I wanted because they plugged into the wall control switch, then would run up the wall. So I bought this product as an 'Extension Cord' to go from my 'switch' to the lights up high. This was the only USB-C 'right angle' male to USB-C female cord I ordered that transferred the power correctly so all functions on the LED lights were available. So far... Great product! Hoping it lasts for our outdoor application. Now that I have it installed... need to weather proof the connections. OY! I plan on heat shrinks for the straight Male to Female Connections, but the 'right angle' male to Light Control Switch is more of a challenge.

EDIT:Well, I've had a chance to really use it now and must revise my review. Without the extension, my PSVR2 headset operates more or less flawlessly and is lots of fun. With the extension, the headset has frequent synchronization errors, often requiring more than one restart of the headset to reestablish the link, and random freezes with bizarre video errors. I don't have any way to test it to be 100% sure but it's a safe bet that this cable is what's causing the errors. I'll be filing for a return after finishing this review. Guess I'll have to move my chair...or find another extension cable.EDIT #2:Got a replacement cable, in case the first was a dud, and the second one doesn't work either. So it's definitely the cable. I'm not sure what cable standard the PSVR2 requires but this [alleged] USB 3.2 ain't it. To add insult to injury, Amazon's not letting me return this one at Kohl's. Now I have print a label (or pay them $1 to send one) so I can use a UPS drop-off location because getting to the nearest UPS store would take more in gas than the cable's worth.[ORIGINAL REVIEW]My TV room isn't huge but my favorite chair is at the opposite corner from the PS5, too far away for the cable that comes on the PSVR2. So, obviously, I needed an extension to play seated games. This one worked out perfectly. It attaches to the front of the PS5, goes down the front almost invisibly, between the console and the speaker next to it, and around the back of the shelving unit the console and speaker are on. This acts as a strain relief and if the cable really gets pulled (which it shouldn't because the cable's now long enough to go anywhere in the room) it ought to just come loose from the extension. For this reason alone, I'd recommend getting one of these even if you don't need the extra cable length.

Helps me with hiding cables from my setup. Had to connect it from my laptop to usb extension underneath the computer desk so I can just insert USBs down there and pair it with cable management product for better result.

So as this supposed to support 10 gbps but its not my HDD connected to laptop can transfer up to 800MBPS but using this cable it can go up to 400MBPS so definitely not what they promised.

If all you're planning to use this for is to extend a charging cable, this is a fine purchase. However, if you plan on using this with a hub or a device, don't expect everything to work. My printer wouldn't work with this cable so I can't really use it at my desk, but I will probably still find a use for it when I'm just charging my laptop in a meeting.

This cable is well made and the right angle head will help route the cable where you want it to go. I use mine for a USB C card reader in the center console of a Tesla Model S to keep it from sticking out into the console opening. It's a little long, but wraps around the inside of the console nicely so it doesn't take up any extra room.
