Other reviews talk about how thin the glass is. I agree, it's not thick like a Mason jar, but it's more than adequate for use with honey. I do not feel that it's going to shatter in my hand or break with use! This is a darling jar that looks nice and is functional. I like that the lid is air-tight and the wand is great to have.

Bought these for End of The Year gifts for my students and they worked great! Since they were gifts I can't speak for how long they lasted, but the color variations were a perfect fit and they seemed to be reasonably sturdy for the quantity and price point! Not crazy thick plastic but I think if taken care of they will last!

I've been using this jar daily (or very, very close to daily) for the past few months. It works great and exactly the way you'd expect. Comments: - Some people have noted the durability of the glass. I would agree that it is on the thinner side, but I haven't had any issues with it. To be safe, I don't store it directly on the countertop, but on a tray on the countertop. Maybe something to keep in mind when deciding. - The rubber gasket (which helps to seal the lid) is also pretty thin and has bent. While it still you an okay seal, it isn't a very strong one. Maybe this is a good thing because the glass is a bit thin.

I wanted a attractive way to store honey and this one works. The seal is tight. They are both attractive and practical.

The glass is very thin and the seal is so tight, I can't open it. Afraid it will break. Not going to be able to use.

In this container, I feel more apt to drizzle a little honey here and there. It is less messy than out of the original jar. Very attractive.

Shouldn't heat up the plastic bottle of honey when it gets crystalized. but a glass jar, you can.
