KCHEX 7pc x 12" long BRAD POINT WOOD DRILL BIT SET 1/8 3/16 1/4 5/16 3/8 7/16 1/2"

Everyone of the bits needed sharpening. They are so dull they wouldn't even drill into pine. I only need the length for a special project, just hope I they hold up that long. Unless you know how to sharpen the bits I woouldn't recommend.

The set I got is metric not US, so it was 12mm not 1/2". Close but slightly larger so didn't work in my jig I drilled a dozen 6" deep holes into 2x8s with the largest and smallest bits, it worked well as a bit, just slightly wrong sizes.

Just to drill through yellow pine I had to put all my weight on these drills, and that's with pilot holes!. And the middle sized one bent. I didn't try forcing the smaller diameters because I could see they would just snap.

So far I like everything, just needed 1 bit but for the price of vs. the set I just bought the set. So far the but I used has done it's job. The only thing I see might be a Problem is Sharping the bit's, othewise then that I would buy again....

Sometimes you just need to drill a 1/2” hole through two 4x4’s to bolt them together! This does that job easily and efficiently without having to drill two holes and hope they line up...I never needed these before but when the need came up, they were a no-brainer. Quality is good!

False advertisement these are NOT sae standard they are metric and they should be listed as such in your description I just wasted $16.00

I will be returning these bits. The descriptions and title say 12", and they are normal length, cheap brad points, NOT 12"! I have no idea how functional they are since I am not opening the package.

These are what I was was looking for....haven't used them as of this posting though....look great though....
