Headline on this product is a bit misleading
Speaking as a licensed massage therapist this thing is amazing if you truly understand deep tissue. Most people think deep tissue means press harder not so much the case... it really means working with the deeper tissues of the body. The pain relief being instant as claimed by the headline is not the case at all. This does have a descent tension on the spring to work a stressed muscle and work with the body as the body determines the speed and nothing is forced which will feel like a hundred times more pressure and feel like the pressure is nothing when the muscle is no longer stressed. This item takes the stress off the thumbs and still get the job done. Also it makes it so much easier to work on your self especially if you have the knowledge to do so. Self care is important and not needing to pay someone for something you can do for yourself is something we all appreciate.

Does not spring does not work!
I looked at reviews on this and most people send them back because they don’t work. I’ll try to do this in the future so I don’t buy things that I have to run around and send back.

Works great on muscle knots - like a chiropractor's Activator tool
Nothing works better for reducing my muscle knots than the chiropractor's thrust adjustment device (spring-loaded thingy for breaking up knots and trigger points). But unless you want to pay $200+ for one, this is your next best alternative in between chiro visits -- and it's hardly a compromise in my view. It provides the thrust/pressure needed to effectively reduce those hard, unrelenting muscle knots, and does so without taxing our finger, thumb and hand muscles. So for me, it's a vital tool in getting pain relief with out spending much time to get there. Some body parts (sides and back of neck and shoulders) are going to be harder to reach and to position the tool, but that's the case for just about any handheld device for those areas. And your knots will return if what's causing them in the first place are/can not be solved. Mine fit the latter category so this tool is a must-have for me.I do caution you not to be over-enthusiastic with it, at least until you can figure out the best use of pressure (how much and how long) for each muscle. It is a tool that uses thrust/force for breaking apart myofascial adhesions. A moderate amount of pressure, sustained for a few seconds at a time, can go a long way.Highly recommended.

Work. Cheaply made. Moderately Strong, Awkward to hold.
Made in ChinaCheap plastic and feel. Plastic does feel to be on the thicker side. May last long may not last long.Spring moderately strong. Stronger people will hit the end range of the spring too easily.Hand ergonomics is not that great. Awkward to hold. Could use a better design.

Effectively release tension in your body!
Let me start by saying that I am a certified massage therapist and a tennis instructor. I love this little tool! I have been using this on myself and massage clients. It is best utilized when utilizing active release technique (A.R.T.) and pressure point therapy. It really saves your thumbs! I also recommend this tool to tennis players who suffer from tennis elbow or golfer's elbow. Headache sufferers can find relief when using this on their neck muscles and at the base of their skull. I carry one in my car and use it when waiting at traffic lights. It's easy to use so give it a try.

I wouldn’t recommend buying
I have a muscle disease and using trigger point therapy is really good for me however, this little junky object does not provide any relief.I figured I’d give it a try, but it wasn’t worth it and it does not work. :/

Handy Spring Thing!
Handy little tool that easily and efficiently targets knots — I specifically use it on my neck, my feet, and my hands. It helps work out stubborn knots that even some massages were getting - I am a fan 10/10 - would recommend to others and buy again as a gift!
