This light is spectacular, especially for the price. I was looking for some portable solutions but I realized expecting battery life after a while is not reasonable from something that’s rechargeable. This is just perfect. I can’t imagine what the amaran or aputure ones feel like. This is worth the money.

So I had to wait to write this review because I wanted to get a feel for how this light would perform. I was a but skeptical on the mounting point but it has proven to be robust and durable and locks well. holds every modifier ive put on it so far. While I think the FX scenes are kinda gimmicky they might be useful to some. I mainly wanted a well built light with adjustable color temp and a good case to protect my investment. The remote app to control this light was easy to setup and connect although I do wish for the price point they included a dedicated remote as well. Also to note this light's fan is dead silent which is hard to find these days it seems. 10/10 would recommend. my only gripe is: - the lack of a dedicated remote - and the strange fact that the Bowens mount lock is backwards. you have to twist your modifiers to the left to lock them into place, where every other light on the market you rotate right to lock in place.

It's simple, affordable and works. Is it the best light out there? No. BUT does it work. YES. I genuinely have no complaints about this light (other than the fact that Smallrigs app is terrible but that doesn't matter because BUTTONS). Grab yourself an umbrella and this thing is perfect for someone who's on the go. It comes with a nice carry case, small, compact, and a workhorse. I've dragged this thing out into the middle of the woods and used it on a generator, worked fine. I used it as a spotlight in my basement and accidentally left it on for five days. It still works, with 0 problems. Just get it.
