My other sharpener broke the points frequently. This one does not.

So far, its fabulous. I know people probably think whats the big deal on a pencil sharpener...but if you truly want great results from your makeup pencils and no hassle with the sharpener, this is it!

Great sharpener, not like cheaper ones that take so much of the pencil off before you even get to the tip. The only thing I think would be better is if the cover were transparent so you can see the pencil while sharpening. I had to take it off, which negates catching the shavings inside. Other than that it works very well, and the above is only my personal preference. Arrived in perfect condition as well.

3 stars because they stuck their amazon sticker RIGHT over the entire sharpener!! Around all the corners too! Of course it wasn’t one of the easy ones to just pull off and it doesn’t leave a mark...it was one of those built-to-last, mega-strong hold, ultra-durable, fire-resistant, never dies stickers that even when pulling off SO slowly and carefully, it still ripped in a thousand places! Anyway, after I was done pulling off the darn mega-tough sticker, I was left with this little sharpener that was so sticky it stuck to my hand...UPSIDE DOWN!! Lol! Anyway, it was a sight for sure. I just don’t get what would have been so hard to have just stuck it into a tiny bag, then put the sticker on?Anyway, enough of that...otherwise the pencil sharpener works well.

The product is great. It sharpens great! But do you really have to put a big sticky label on it!!!??? It’s so damn sticky, the glue is so hard to come off. Even used alcohol to get the sticky area clean and it just made it worse. Disappointed 😔.
