Worth the money!
Was unsure about buying this given the cost but definitely worth it. I have a small stove and most standard logs don't fit. This quickly and efficiently halves logs so I don't have to buy the expensive ones.

Good log splitter
Works great, put log on hit it hard it splits. Needs mounting to a sturdy log or suchlike otherwise it bounces when you hit the log. There are four holes provided for that so not a problem

Not very effective
Looks strong but the centre splitting blade is not sharp enough which makes splitting some logs very hard

Make sure you bolt it down to something heavy.
Great product splits the wood like butter as long as you are not going against the grain 😆. It was a Christmas present and I now have one happy husband 😀

Robust bit of kit
Seems to be working well so far, I’ve gone through a bit of wood with it and all I can say is that the coating seems to have come off in parts on the blade but I can’t see this being a problem. Very sturdy bit of kit, I’ve bolted mine into a large lump of wood and it sits well

Perfect for halving logs
The splitter is sturdy but needs to be anchored down when using, actually splitting the logs requires strength and force.The logs are then perfect for the fire and burn much better.

Doesnt chop anything wood just bounces on it
This is a total waste of money, doesn't chop anything blade is blunter than a piece of cardboard. Just bounces out of it. Rubbish please don't waste your money
