I love this phone clamp. This is my second one (first one was taken by an admirer). I like the idea of have to twisted down the clamp on my phone as opposed to a pull spring lock. It swivels both vertically and horizontally and fits on most tripod 1/4" screw heads. I have worry free stability and I can determine how much pressure it takes to hold which ever phone I am using for a shoot (Note 8 or 9, iPhone 7 Plus). I can use this with a case on the phone or off. I love this mount.

Heavy duty plastic construction (almost like the bakelite used in olden times though not as shiny) with brass threads inserted. Screwdown holder holds the phone securely and the holder can be screwed into any standard tripod.

My husband and I accidentally threw away our selfie stick attachment in a backpack that finally gave in during a vacation this year. Thank God for this smartphone holder adapter that replaced it! We love the fact that one can turn it 360 degrees and is quite sturdy.

This is a nice tripod mount, I use it daily for Phlogging (blogging about Photography). The brass threaded inserts are an upscale feature. The additional 1/4-20 thread is handy for mounting accessories to the system. Well worth the money.

Ease of use and simple but durable construction.

Since my Samsung has a better camera than either of my older standard cameras, I was glad tofind a mount was available. It will make video stable too but I haven't done that yet.

Easy to use

Modern phones come with excellent cameras and reasonable microphones. Sometimes, you just don't need to carry around a video camera but you still don't want to produce an unprofessional wobbly mess. That was my reason for buying a tripod adapter for a mobile phone. First impressions were good - this came on time and packaged in a posh box. The adapter offers myriad possibilities: portrait or landscape orientation or anything in between. Your device is held firmly between two rubber-faced clamps with metal bolts connecting the plastic parts.The adapter works perfectly with the screw you'll find on a full-size or table-top tripd, or a selfie-stick. I'm very happy with it.

Waste of time. Only sent the tripod mounting section and not the phone holder section which made it completely useless. Sent back immediately. Full refund given so well done Amazon.

Purchased this for holding an iPhone 7 Plus sturdy whilst streaming and playing darts online during the lockdown.Made a nice wall bracket and fixed this on top, works a treat, will hold a 7 plus in a rubber case with no issues.Strong and sturdy, great purchase.

This wasn't an expensive item, but it works very well at holding a range sizes of smartphone in place.
