HFS Ratchet Pipe Threader Kit Replacement 1/2-inch Dies

I recieved the item on time. It had a missing part and i contacted customer service. The part was sent to me with some simple questions and photo. Excellent customer service. And the threades worked as it should.

Very solid piece. Bought it for replacement of my old one. Works as it should. 👌

I bought this due to replace my worn out Harbor Frieght one-inch die. This die was hard to slide on the 1” black iron pipe, however after the first few pipes it slide on easier and the snug fit I believe helps with alignment. The threader starts and cut better than the Harbor Frieght die. The only issue is the final tapered thread could be tighter/lower. The fittings screw on and with in a 1/4-1/2” are snug and do not want to go further. I would like a 3/4” of an inch on my fittings. A great buy for $17 dollars.

bought to retread a pipe and it got the job done.

Bought this to replace a broken one from HF. This one is identical to the HF one, but incompatible with Ridgid dies. Works OK though. Got the job done. The real weak spot on these is the plastic retaining ring held on with 3 screws. It broke on my old one; hence the reason for only 4 star review. It will work fine, but the plastic will affect its longevity. 4 stars.

I bought this as a replacement for a VEVOR Electric Pipe Threader die. Unlike the Aluminum Vevor die this unit is a cast steel holder and way better quality. Had to sand off some paint to get it to fit in the Electric Pipe Threader but once that was don it fits and works great.

It broke right away didn’t make a good thread the teeth in the threader chip even with lots of oil.
