My Last Kenmore Purchase
This refrigerator arrived on time. The delivery was smooth, but the installation of the ice maker connections could not happen because the "included ice maker" was not installed. After three calls to Amazon and eleven calls to the Sears/Kenmore Customer Service (a misnomer if ever there was one), I have given up on securing the ice maker that the manufacturer left off this unit.Amazon was wonderful; they ended up discounting the refrigerator significantly. They tried connecting me to Sears, but that didn't end well. No one associated with Kenmore will accept responsibility. I called a total of seven (7) Sears and/or Kenmore toll free numbers (and was referred to a different group four more times) and was variously disconnected, dismissed, treated rudely, or got a recording to call back during business hours (which were not supplied).The refrigerator/freezer is a nice fridge; we purchased it for our garage and it seems well made for the environment and purpose. We are using it as a principal fridge as we just moved into a new house and securing a refrigerator at this time is difficult to impossible. The capacity is great. The crisper drawers are adjustable for humidity as per veggies versus fruit. It cools as it should. The freezer has kept everything frozen. No complaints with the functions of the unit, just that it was shipped incomplete.

A fridge that works !
I received this refrigerator on time with tracking updates the whole way.The freezer and fridge both got down to correct temperatures within 12 hours .It came with a small dent in the side but otherwise works great so far.Time will tell if it will last.Other than dent I am well pleased so far. It has a large freezer and plenty of room in the cooling compartment. Seems to have been made with same quality as more expensive models. Thank you for quick delivery and tracking up dates and a competitive price .

DO NOT BUY, Kenmore doesn't stand behind their products
Update: The process we have dealt with to get Kenmore to stand behind their products and replace this faulty item has been more hassle than anything I've ever dealt with in my life. Every time I feel like there is a light at the end of this nightmare tunnel, they create more and more hoops for me to jump through. Their communication is slow and there are 100 middle men to go through so we can't ever just get a straight answer. (Team A, Team B, This team, That team) It feels like they have no interest in just send the replacement and being done with it. I can't afford to just go and buy another refrigerator.As it turns out the refrigerator was manufactured almost 10 years ago and the part that went bad is no longer being made/sold. So it can't be repaired. Kenmore uses A&E factory service to do their repairs, the repairman that came to our home was really nice but the appointments were always next week, next week, next week. But as we learned, it can't be repaired.Bought a new refrigerator July 2022 … June 2023 the refrigerator completely fails costing us hundreds of dollars in food… purchased 3 year warranty… told under factory 1 year warranty…we were sent damaged repair parts twice ….we have been without a fridge now for almost 2 months and when reaching out to company we were told we could go buy a mini fridge until it eventually gets repaired…. I will NEVER buy a product from kenmore again…

This is a Best Buy
I was so excited when I found this refrigerator on Amazon. I really like the fact that it does not show fingerprints or nose prints. It is just the perfect size for 2 adults. We had looked at the French door type with the freezer on the bottom and that was a major out.Thank you, Amazon, for having this wonderful refrigerator in stock.

I had a 18" that had rollers on the bottom to make it easy to roll out to clean out the lint, but this 21" is bulky built like a tank but considering all that, trade off is worth it. This has more power saving features and keeps food cool or frozen at low settings. Also is quiet (Tip: If it makes loud noises disable the ice maker, usually that is the cause.). Obviously more spacious than my previous fridge. Again the portability was the drawback, next time could ya add mini wheels and make it easy to move around?

Kenmore Fridge W/ Amazon delivery team
All went Great!!! Order fridge on a Monday and got it Wednesday afternoon. They hooked up the ice maker and removed the old fridge. Could not ask for anything better. Note - Fridge does not have a light in the freezer. No big deal except the old fridge had one. Not a unhappy change. Had a great deal too on the 5 year warranty.

Worst customer service ever.
After about seven months of use fridge went to room temperature. food spoiled, freezer thawed. No problem, under warranty. Got a tech to come a few days later. He evaluated and decided it needed 2 parts that needed to be ordered. Rescheduled. Eleven hour windows for arrival, so now the second day I needed to take off from my self employment. Day before tech appointment Sears calls to confirm parts had arrived. Confirmed they had. Looked on service appointment page and info said it hadn’t been confirmed and that tech would not come until it was. Called back confirmed again, assured service tech company would call to confirm appointment but not sure when. 3 hours later no call from service company, but Sears called again to confirm that parts had arrived. Confirmed yet again, to be told that I would now need to reschedule for another day. Told rep at this point I’d probably just throw the refrigerator away since the time lost from work was now worth more than the refrigerator cost, and that I would be better just to buy another refrigerator from another company, and not a Kenmore! Not sure he understood me, like the other reps he seemed to speak little English, and understood less; but at least, unlike the first two reps, I could understand almost all of what he said. I still have another few months on the warranty, and the refrigerator is running for now, so I’ll just hang on to the parts and wait until I can afford another day off. Worst customer service ever.
