Purchased for my adult son for the Renaissance Faire. It seemed to be comfortable and breathable enough in the heat of summer, and it fit well!

Got what I expected, quality of material and construction is decent for the price. **Make sure to buy at least a size larger than you wear,** whatever size chart the manufacturer uses is significantly smaller than the standard sizes most of those reading will be used to. Otherwise decent product, comes as described and looks like the picture. I can already tell you that it won’t last too many more renaissance festivals, as some of the eyes for the laces on the front have already come loose from the fabric itself

Worked very well for my needs. I went up a size because I wanted it a bit baggy. If I'd gotten my size would've been spot on. Delivery was super fast and arrived in time for event. Fabric is not flimsy. Would recommend.

We got this to fill in as an extra costume for the school Shakespeare play for a small actor. It looked pretty good and held up well— except the dye rubbed off onto his white shirt. Wish we would’ve known to launder it first! So be warned if you purchase and wear with a light shirt.

The vest is true to size and worked for my Ren Faire costume. The fabric is soft and doesn't have the appearance of plastic. I removed the lacing completely and wore the vest loose over a lace-up shirt. That said, if I'm ever wearing a different shirt underneath/need the vest laced when I wear this for future costumes, I will definitely be replacing the lacing with brown faux suede or hemp cord for a more rustic look. The lacing that comes with the vest looks like very shiny polyester shoe strings. I don't mind, since that's removable. I was more concerned about the appearance of the fabric used for the vest itself, but it's worth noting. If you need to wear it laced up and are in a time crunch, I'd visit a local fabric supply/craft store or order alternative cord at the same time

I ordered this kinda late for a cosplay party, and it actually came a few days early, which was relieving, because I was worried it might come in late. Fit just like I expected it to using the sizing guide. (Tips for my fellow ladies, add two or three extra inches to your bust size when buying!) The strings used to tie it are too long for my taste, but a quick knot to keep them from fraying and a pair of scissors easily fixed that! All in all, 10/10!

The colour is nice however whatever the material is, it shed itself all over the white shirt that was on underneath. Didn’t get to wear it before all the metal hole covers fell off. Not good quality at all, looks quite cheap. The fit is good, true to size.
