Very unimaginative workout programs with lots of additional information you can’t really use
I understand by the standards of the NSCA this is the information that is required for communicating the necessity of special populations, training programs, so then by the standards of the textbook’s integrity there’s really nothing to complain about. The book says what it supposed to say. my assessment is more on its actual practicality for training people with the different issues and problems that are itemized under the categories of special populations. People in special populations need a lot more variety and specialized attention than what this textbook is going to show you. The exercises and training programs are not much different than any other textbook you’ll ever find. There’s a lot of information on awareness of medication‘s and other health constraints associated with different Physical limitations and disabilities but as far as training… You’re better off going to YouTube

Inaccurate
I gotta say, I’m surprised by the reviews. Especially when the pass rate for the exam is 41% the first time.I have found so many inaccuracies with information. The key code for the study questions, several are key’d wrong. As a graduating DPT, much of the information i learned in school is not what the CSPS book says. And frankly, I’m going to trust my school studies versus this book. It’s very concerning considering this book is supposed to teach exercise professions accurate information but it’s not. I can’t imagine how many people out there know wrong information.NSCA has to do something about this. There’s a reason there is a 41% pass rate. Because this book needs some serious editing! Now I’m wondering if this is just a money scam to get people to pay another $300+ for a second exam.Very unhappy.
