Hidden Camera Detector Magnetic Field Detector, Bug Sweeper Listening Device Detector for Car, Hotel, Meeting Protect Your Privacy in All aspects

I am writing this review to share my personal experience with the KAXYUYA Anti Spy and Hidden Camera Detector Device.I like this anti-spy detector device because it is small, lightweight, easy to carry around, has a rechargeable battery built-in, and it has seven different functions that I can chose from such as magnetic field detection, flashlight, infrared night vision camera detection, shake sensing function, radio frequency signal detection, intelligent record detection, and camera lens search function.Since it is an anti-spy detector, discretion is everything for me because I do not want to let everyone know that I am carrying an anti-tracking and hidden camera detector device with me.For this reason, I like the fact that this anti-spy detector is small and lightweight because it is compact enough for me to hide it and lightweight enough so does not become uncomfortable for me to carry it around with me.Another detail that I like on this anti-spy detector device is that it has a 450mAh lithium battery built-in, so I can easily and conveniently put my anti-spy device to charge multiple times once it runs out of battery, instead of having to buy batteries to use it.This anti-spy and hidden camera detector came with a type-C charging cable. However, it is the shortest type-C charging cord that I have ever received with an electronic device.I have included a picture of my anti-spy detector device being charged with the type-C charging cable that came with this hidden camera detector. Would be nice if the type-C charging cord was a little bit longer instead of short.Nevertheless, I can charge my anti-spy detector device from any USB plug and keep my device right next to the plug while it is charging or I can charge it from my laptop as well as use the USB port from my nightstand to charge my device.Even though the charging cord is short, I still find this anti-spy detector device very cool because it is not only discrete, rechargeable, and portable but, it is also quite simple and straightforward to use.And you can see from my pictures that this hidden camera detector device has only two buttons, the MENU button and the SET button.So, once I finished charging my anti-spy detector device, I pressed the SET button and I hold it for two seconds then, my device turned ON. And every time that I want to turn my anti-spy detector device ON or OFF, I simply press and hold for two seconds the SET button.Then, I used the other button, most precisely the MENU button to switch between the different functions that my anti-spy detector device has. Each time I short pressed the MENU button it changed to a different function.For instance, when I was trying out the magnetic field detection function, I simply turned ON my anti-spy detector device and short pressed the MENU button until it displayed “MG detect” on the screen.Once, it appeared “MG detect” I stopped pressing the MENU button otherwise it would jump to a different function because it is what happened when I first tried to use so, I continue pressing the MENU button and it kept going thru the other functions available until appeared “MG detect” on the screen again.But now I already got used to this anti-spy detector device so whatever function I want to use once it shows up on the screen, I stop pressing the MENU button right away.So, I left my device set to magnetic field detection and I pointed the back of my anti-spy detector device towards some magnetic objects that I have around in my house just to test if the anti-spy detector device would pick up or not.Then, I right away found out that this anti-spy detector device had its sensitive set to medium and the manual of instruction recommends to set the sensitive level to L (low) in case the magnetic force is strong but, seriously I don’t recommend much using the low sensitive.And here is the reason, I have tried this anti-spy device in my house with the sensitive level set to L (low) because I have some magnetic devices and security cameras installed in my living room and in my kitchen so, I thought that if I am trying the device inside of my house and the objects that I want to check are also inside of my house as well it meant at least to me that the magnetic force from these objects are strong.Therefore, just for curiosity I went to my bathroom with my anti-spy detector device set to magnetic field detection as well as the sensitive level set to L (low) to see if my anti-spy detector device would pick up any magnetic signal coming from my living room or my kitchen.Then my anti-spy detector device started beeping, so I thought with myself good it is picking up magnetic signals coming from the living room or the kitchen. Then, I walked outside of my bathroom holding my device and the device immediately stopped beeping so I was like wait a minute. 🤔Because I thought the beeping would continue once I walked out of my bathroom and started walking towards my living room but because the beeping stopped, I was puzzled. 🤔So, decided to go back to the bathroom to find out why my anti-spy detector device was beeping there instead of beeping when I was walking towards my living room or my kitchen.Then, I found out that my anti-spy detector device was picking up magnetic signal from my bathroom trash can so I giggle a little bit, because I have this trash can for a couple of years and I forgot that had magnet on it.Consequently, I tried the magnetic field function with the sensitive set to M (medium) and my anti-spy detector device picked up signal from my bedroom because I have a few magnetic items in but, the device still did not pick up magnetic signals coming from my living room or my kitchen.So, I changed the sensitivity to H (high) to see if my anti-spy detector device would pick up magnetic signal coming from my kitchen or my living room.Then finally, my anti-spy detector device started beeping non-stop the closer I was getting to my refrigerator and towards the other magnetic devices in my kitchen the beeping started getting louder.However, when I set the sensitive level to L (low) and walked with the anti-spy device to my hallway, the device did not pick up the magnetic signal that comes from my refrigerator even though my refrigerator is huge and has a lot magnet on it.So, these are the reasons why I don’t recommend using the magnetic field detection function under low sensitive level unless you are right in front of the device that you are trying to check if has magnet or not.From my own experience, I think that you will be better off selecting the medium or the high sensitivity if you want to check for magnetic GPS trackers underneath your car, as well as, wiretaps and small hidden cameras that may be placed on hidden spots inside of hotel rooms.This anti-spy detector device also has a flashlight function, and I only had to press the SET button because once I turned my anti-spy detector device ON, the first image that appeared and still appears every time I turn my device ON, is the flashlight.So, I just press the SET button to turn the flashlight ON and once I am done using the flashlight, I press the SET button again to turn the flashlight OFF.Although the flashlight function may not seem like a big deal, I believe it is a nice little function to have in this anti-spy detector device mainly when I am in a dark area and I need a flashlight to illuminate and be able to see my surroundings.This anti-spy device can also detect infrared night vision cameras up to a distance of 3 feet so, I turned ON my anti-spy detector device and I selected the function called “IR detect” then, tried this infrared detection feature pointing the laser that was coming from my anti-spy detector device towards one of the security cameras that I have in my living room.Because all my security cameras have infrared night vision sensor, I thought it would be a great idea to test the infrared night vision detection from my anti-spy device and once I pointed the red laser light towards one of my security cameras it started beeping right away.However, it only works detecting infrared night vision if it is really dark because I have tried it myself pointing the red laser light over the security camera lens but, because I was holding my anti-spy detector device with my left hand and holding my iPhone and at the same time trying to record a short video using my right hand, on one of my videos it did not detected the infrared night vision from the security camera because my iPhone had the flashlight ON, once I turned the flashlight OFF, the anti-spy device detected the infrared night vision camera right away.Additionally, this anti-spy detector device has a shake sensing function that was quite simple to use, I turn ON my device, short press the MENU button and keep short pressing a few times until it appears “Shake sensing” on the screen then, I can my anti-spy detector device either on the floor or by the window to check the shake sensing feature and it is what I did in my video.I was trying to test to see if my anti-spy detector device would pick up the vibration from someone opening my door and because I did not exactly tried it in a hotel room, I decided to test near my front door around the time that my husband comes home to see if the device would pick up the vibration from my husband opening the door.Nonetheless, since my husband did not show up during the time that I was testing the shake sensing function, I decided to go ahead and open the door myself and activated the alarm then, my anti-spy device quickly started detecting the vibration, I also recorded a short video to share here that the function actually works well and gets loud too!I personally think it is a cool device to use when we are staying in hotels because it can alert us from a potential intruder getting inside of our room so, I am taking this anti-spy device with me on my vacation trip to Brazil.Now moving on to what I liked the most on this device is the fact that I can use the radio frequency signal device to check if someone is spying on me, if someone is GPS tracking me, if someone is secretly recording me without my permission and even worse without I know anything about, and the radio frequency detector can also let me know if someone is listening to my private conversations.Since wireless spy devices use radio frequency from cell phones, wireless hidden cameras, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, radios, and obviously Wi-Fi routers to receive and send Wi-Fi signals, I decided to put my anti-spy device to detect radio frequency signal with the sensitive level on high then, I placed the device on my nightstand near three objects in my house that I know for a fact that they transmit radio frequency signal.The closer my anti-spy detector device got from sources of radio frequency signals coming from my iPhone, as well as coming from my hidden camera that looks exactly like a smoke detector and my alarm clock that has a hidden camera built-in, my anti-spy detector device started beeping louder and faster and as the signals continued increasing the beeping started to become annoying.And I think you can do the same to check if your anti-spy device works detecting radio frequency signals from hidden cameras or listening devices that could be installed inside of smoke detectors, alarm clocks, nightstands and other objects to pick up what you are doing privately then transmit it wirelessly to someone else that could be watching you or listening to you from a website or an app that works with the hidden camera devices installed in random objects placed in a room.Additionally, this anti-spy detector device can be set to beep or to vibrate. So, just in case you would like to find out if someone is spying on you without being too obvious, I believe it would be a good idea to remove the sound alarm from beeping and set it to vibrate.Because if you have this anti-spy detector device with you and you are trying to find out if someone is recording you or if someone has eavesdropping devices while talking with you but, you forgot to remove the beeping function from your anti-spy detector device; once it starts beeping you will not only find out that you was probably being recorded without your permission but the other person will also be able to hear the beeping sound of the anti-spy detector device coming from you as well.In addition, has one more detail that I would like to share here, this anti-spy detector device will only work detecting radio frequency signal from devices that actually are able to receive and transmit data wirelessly such as in the case of my alarm clock and my smoke detector that have built-in hidden cameras, and work with certain apps that I've installed on my iPhone so, I can watch and listen what is going on inside of my house using the apps.Therefore, if you or someone else has a hidden camera device installed on a notebook and it does not work wirelessly and neither has an app installed to make the hidden camera in the notebook receive and transmit wireless signals, then the anti-spy detector device will not pick up any radio frequency signal coming from the hidden camera installed in the notebook.It works the same way on any device that you have to manually place memory cards inside, press record and later retrieve the memory card in order to watch the data recorded in the non-wireless device, this anti-spy device will not be able to pick up any radio frequency signal from it because it simply isn’t a wireless device.However, the anti-spy device has a function called camera lens search and I find this function the easiest and most effective way to detect hidden cameras because even if the camera is not connected via wireless like in the case of my hidden camera that resembles a notebook for example, once I put my anti-spy detector device on “camera scanning” it showed up a small light shining from my hidden camera lens.Additionally, this anti-spy detector device has a function called “intelligent record detection” that collects radio frequency signals being received and I included it on my video showing my anti-spy detector device collecting and recording the number of radio frequency signals and you can see on my video the numbers increasing as the time passes by.I tried the intelligent record detection feature on the GPS and hidden cameras that I have installed in my car and it worked without any issues and it was actually a quite funny experience because every time that passes a car, a truck, a bus, and even a person near my car the GPS as well as the front and rear cameras start recording then later cameras stop recording, and once passes again another vehicle or someone near my car they record again.So, I stayed outside of my house using my anti-spy detector device to collect the number of signals the device could record for a while until my neighbor showed up to see what I was doing because I was laughing a little bit all by myself and my neighbor thought was something wrong with me. 😅Anyways, I had a great time testing all the functions that my anti-spy detector device has available and I like that it can detect hidden cameras as well as listening devices within a certain range, I just have to adjust the settings to increase the sensitive level or decrease the sensitive level on my device and to be honest with you all, I am only using it with the sensitive level set to high, and it does a great job detecting radio frequency signals, magnetic signals, as well as finding camera lenses regardless if the camera lenses are turned ON or OFF; therefore, because my anti-spy detector device can prevent me from being exposed and having my privacy disclosed to anyone out there without my permission, I am happy with this anti-spy detector device!

This is a bit more of a compact form of detection device and it is something that you can easily take on the go while also having access to multiple use spy detection. It is decent although the screen is ea bit easy to scratch up. This is definitely better than those wand ones you would wave around in order to detect stuff. This one does the same thing but on a smaller size scale. I do like that it has extra features built into it. It is not super heavy so I am able to carrying this around in my car and travel bag. That being said, this device is a bit more fragile than those wand device but still relatively sturdy. I do like the flash light as well as infrared detection in order to see hidden cameras. It has a digital screen rather than just LED lights or analog pointer. It actually makes sound as well for both detection as well as things like motion detection and gives another deterrent from theft. It can detect GPS signal so I can scan my car if anyone is trying to leave an airtag on my car. The nice thing is that this is much easier to store inside my glove box than the wand. With the size of this detector, it is not overly sensitive. The digital reader definitely makes it a lot easier to read when it picks up signals. This has multiple functions but the controls are not as simple as the wand one considering it has a bunch of additional functions. The controls take time to learn. When utilizing the detection, do not go fast or it will not get the reading. The buttons on this are responsive so you do not have to press down hard to change functions and such. The UI takes a little time to get used to. It is simple but it is like operating on an old cellphone screen. There is a simple power switch to turn the device on or off. It has a built in rechargeable battery that you can charge it via USB. Overall this device is great to have for not only detecting bugs or hidden camera but also acting as a security device when you are away from home. The detection and alarm is decent. All the function in one does make this an all around device. The detection is on point.

this thing is a POS and not worth more than $30.

I bought this just in time to go traveling. It was definitely worth the money and very easy to use.
