Great for podcasts!
Got this for my wife for Christmas for a podcast she wants to start. Working great so far, sound is awesome!

They say 2x pop filters, and 5 items, but you only get 1x pop filter and 4 items.
Totally skipped out on providing what was listed in the description. What I did get seems so work, but the bottom line is you are paying for what is listed and not what you actually get. Its like half a scam.

Not a good buy
The yeti came with a piece lose inside. The shock price didn’t fit. Had to return and still waiting for refund

Had High Hopes
While I had high hopes for the Blue Yeti, those hopes were dashed and I ended up not being able to use it. The boom arm and filters functioned adequately but the microphones performance AS USED proved to be inadequate.I have a deep resonant voice and I'm background actor and perform various rolls including a featured Zombie.I produce video reviews for Amazon and thought the Blue Yeti would be advantageous for that use. It didn't pan out that way. The Blue Yeti microphone as USED was overly sensitive to background noise such as the refrigerator running or the household furnace. I ended up still using my headset equipped with a microphone that isn't susceptible to those sounds and it showcases my deep voice along with the different voice styles I utilize.This isn't to say the Blue Yeti if used in a more professional sound proofed studio environment with sound editing type of software wouldn't be advantageous, but how I used it CURRENTLY, it didn't work while my relatively cheap headset does rather excellently. I did try a couple of lavalier microphones and those failed my expectations also.I like the Blue Yeti, I set it up properly and tried various gain levels but I was unable to achieve the desired results. It works, but not to my hopeful expectations.
