Honestly, this thing is a tank. Much sturdier than I expected for the price, and the design is just what my patio needed. I've cooked on it loads, as well as using it as a fire pit in the evening to burn logs. The rain cover is literally made to measure and will hopefully keep my funky lava lamp kicking for years.

just assembled it and its a pleasure to put together , good quality fixings and decent instructions - not had a chance to set light to it yet so i dont know how resiliant its going to be ..... but i like it enough that ive just order another one as a gift . little over 6 ft high and probably beach ball sized burning area - like it. just a note on assembly - the middle mesh section can be put in upside down , meaning the hinge wont work ...and its far easier to attach the top chimney section to the bit below before attaching to the mesh section - unless you have 8 ft long arms of course

My wife recently purchased this via Amazon. My job was to assemble it and, in all honesty, I wasn’t looking forward to it as I have poor experiences of assembling such products with ill fitting parts.I needn’t have worried with this chimenea from Radar. All the bolts, washers and nuts were present and correct. Rather than using holes which would require precise alignment, Radar have used slots which allows for easier alignment and hence assembly.Really good instructions as well. Not the usual 20th photocopy of a photocopy.You get the feeling that someone has actually sat down and put some thought into this design and assembly. It really shone through.I got it assembled in about 30-40 minutes (with very cold fingers) and we tried it immediately.It was a beautiful sight on our patio, -3 deg C, a dusting of snow on the patio furniture, a cup of hot Gluwein and this brilliant chimenea.I cannot recommend this product highly enough.
