Texture of this varnish
This varnish is one of my favorite vanishes, HOWEVER I just feel that this time it feels somewhat thinner , then others before. It shows in the texture after it has dried. Does EVERYTHING have to be altered in today's time, but still charged high prices?? I know however, it brings out the colors more vivid, after applying

Verified Purchase!
I absolutely love the Tri-Art Liquid Glass Pouring Art Medium! I originally purchased it to use as a sealant for my chunky glitter champagne bottles, and it worked beautifullyโleaving a smooth, glossy finish without dulling the sparkle. Iโve also used it to seal embellished bottles that I decorated with Mod Podge, and it gave them a professional, glass-like shine that really elevated the look. The consistency is easy to work with, and it dries clear and durable. This product has definitely earned a permanent spot in my craft suppliesโIโll keep it on hand as a must-have for all my art projects!

Takes some finessing, but end result is exactly what I was hoping for! Best Value!
Note: I am using this product as a finish on top of my canvas paintings, not as a pouring medium.Ok look, this stuff is awesome but for people that aren't used to dealing with products like this, it takes a few tries to get it right. Rating it one star because you can't figure out how to use it properly is like buying professional artists paint and saying the paint is faulty because your painting didn't come out like Picasso's.Anyway... I have yet to try as a pouring medium, only as a finish on top of my paintings, but the end result is awesome (for the price)! The problem most people have is it thickens up too quickly in order to get an even spread on the painting. I have found that if you add 10% water to the mixture it allows for a slightly slower thickening time and gives you the chance to get a nice even coat. Also, add a tape or some other kind of barrier around the edge to avoid losing too much as you spread it around. The water does thin the product out a little but if you're doing more than one coat, this is the way to go.Another technique is to place the bottle in warm water before use to loosen the product. Allows for a slightly slower thickening time.Dry in a cool, dry place with a cover so no dust particles get in it. It does NOT dry well in humid environments.Resin will still give you the best result but for amateurs like myself, this is the best, most affordable way to give your paintings that beautiful high gloss finish =]

Easy & Efficient - highly recommend
I bought this as I was tired of using the polycrylic or polyurethene to seal my artwork. The reason I didn't like those is that even though they claim to dry clear - they changed the color of white to a cream....that's a big NO!This dries clear, gives a nice sheen and doesn't change the color of my painting but enhances the color! The whites stay their true color - super easy to use as it comes in a bottle. I have used it on canvas and painted wood - goes on smooth. I use a sponge to spread the medium on top of my paintings- very interested in trying to pour and move the canvas around so no brush marks show up!

Good product but way too expensive
This product is good and replaces resin for me, however the price increase is ridiculous!I bought the 1000ml bottle in 2019 for $22. Today it's $63!!!

Good product. As a varnish excellent resin like finish ...
Good product. As a varnish excellent resin like finish without using resin. Learned the hard way it does NOT mix with Floetrol ( Crazes and actually pulls the paint off the canvas as it dries.) Used alone as a pouring medium revels nice results. It is a little on the thick side however so water is needed which diminishes the glossy finish a little. My conclusion is that it is a beautiful vanish. I will likely not use it as a pouting medium. The results when mixed with water are similar to ordinary Floetrol and it much more expensive.

I love this stuff!!
I really like this product! Iโm just starting out doing acrylic paint pouring Iโve only been doing it for about 6-8 months so Iโm still learning as I go. You can use this straight out of the bottle or dilute it. It is a little harder to work with at full strength but I gives a more resin like finish that way. I also did a 50/ 50 mix w/ distilled water and that turned out really nice as well. There is a video of both to show what it looks like. You can also use this as a pouring medium but I have not tried that yet.
