14" long head made of high carbon steel. Heat treated and tempered for maximum strength. Rigidly welded with re-enforced steel pipe as handle and a steel made D Grip. Powder coated in steel gray color for rust resistance. Overall length 41" approximately.

Shovel was all steel but it is not a heavy duty shovel. I bought 3 of them. Two of them broke the first week because the handles bent. Residential use not commercial.
