A truly Powerful drill & impact driver.Fantastic build quality.Drills trough hardwood & masonry effortlessly, I have no doubt this drill can handle any task asked of it.Impact driver is smooth and powerful, a joy to use.I was torn between this & the Milwaukee M18 fuel set (which was £50 cheaper) but I’m glad I opted for the Makita.

Excellent bit of kit, battery lasts a lot longer than my previous Nicd combi. The hammer action is also better than my previous I find myself getting out my bosch cordless SDS drill a lot less often.

Not had the chance to do anything challenging with the drill yet - but no complaints about how it handles basic tasks.I have however given the impact driver a good run for its money. Screwing some long self-tapping screws into some very resilient multiplex. When I previously did this task by hand, it literally took me hours, lots of screwdrivers and a fair amount of expletives. The impact driver has a dedicated intelligent setting for self-tapping screws which works really well. Went through the multiplex like butter. Make sure, however, that you use decent quality, impact rated, bits for the driver - it packs a serious punch.One niggle though. The kit comes in a very nice looking case. However, it was delivered to make covered in all sorts of irrelevant stickers that wont peel off which is a real pity.

Came when it said it would and these drills are the business!! Charged them when they came and the chargers been in the box since both batteries still fullbars after 4 jobs where drills were used extensively also used one of the batteries with the 18v multi tool sanding for about 20 min never dented the battery life I fully recommend these drills to anyone in trade/construction. These have tore through every task iv thrown at them and although sceptical at first the macpac cases have proven to be extremely handy I will keep adding to this kit and can see a makita trolly on the Xmas list. Also I bought a set of bosch drill bits to go in the box the medium Sized kits fit nicely but the large ones are slightly too big to close the lid (I keep mine in the multi tool box).
