A good idea but needs beefed up.
I would not buy this again. Construction is poor. The thin tabs used to tighten the device in the cup holder immediately broke off while I was tightening it down. The flexible cable seems loose where it attaches to the base. If the tabs were three times as thick and the connection to the base was better, this would be a good phone cup holder mount. As it stands now, it is junk. I got mine tight enough to hold the phone, but I fear it will not be long before something breaks or pops out of the cupholder.

Actually a very nice cup mount holder
YouTube reviewers of various cup mount phone holders are understandably critical which "holder grip trays" are the best. Personally, I gave this unit 5 stars because it's enjoyably reliable and works perfect. However, upon tightening the cup holder compression ring into my vehicles cup holder hole, one of the two fastener EARS simply snapped off with minimal effort making it difficult now to remove and reinsert. Based on this dilemma, I'm going to return it and try again.

Durability.
After adjusting the barrel size to fit my cup holder, the adjust tab broke off. I hope this doesnt render the product as useless!

El soporte que se adhiere al teléfono falla en el sistema cierre y ese soporte no asegura bien con el soporte vertical; fue necesario usar un adhesivo.

Grips well
Holds in the cupholder very well. I like it in my Tacoma

It lasted two weeks before it broke
I would never buy that product again. It’s a waste of money it’s just a piece of plastic. It doesn’t hold on. It’s not deep enough into the cupholder so it slips out and the cable that holds the phone harness just broke right off.

Don’t waste your money.
This product SUCKS. it doesn’t come with an instruction manuel in the box and it always slips out of the cup holder. I have an iphone 13 pro max for reference and it does not hold up.Better for less heavier phones but i think there are other worthwhile products out there.
