It's a quality board book. Durable, as expected, for a board book. The concepts are definitely not for toddler (some of my friends don't know a handful of the letters), but it's a fun book. Maybe not the best for teaching your child how to read, but could be fun to switch things up and add some counting in with the alphabet. Review: Great book - I really like this book for kids! It gives a variety of mathematical concepts in kid friendly language. It’s perfect for the mathematician’s kid!

So cute!
I teach mathematics at the high school level and bought this for a baby gift. I love it so much and want one for my classroom! I really think it is neat how they have words to practice with baby but then also has descriptions that kids could use throughout their schooling. More than a baby book!

A+. And as a professor whose scale only actually goes to A, that is saying something.
With the recent influx of friends-who-have-babies in my life, I have browsed and purchased several Fundamental Mathematics books for the very-young, including this one. (Which is what you /do/ as the "Math Friend") Out of all of those, this one exceeds the others by a statistically significant amount. I appreciated the wide variety of mathematical topics that got a presence in this book, beyond the usual arithmetic and basic algebra. Each page not only has the standard "A is for ____" format, but also includes a basic sentence that explains the topic. And, to my delight, a second sentence or two that adds further vocabulary or insight to the Letter's Topic. There were joyous exclamations. Really. Definitely a must-have for all enlightened infants.

Love it!
Bought this book when my baby was 4 months old. He is now 9 months and this is definitely his favorite book.

My husband loves this book
My husband is a big math guy. We just had a baby and I got him this book for Christmas. He thought it was amazing and has read it to the baby multiple times. It is definitely more of a book for the adults reading than for the kids as the words are pretty advanced, but the big thing or babies is the connections made reading to the baby my husband loves to read it to her, so it has been a win in my house.

Good for toddlers, kids and sone grown ups
I love the idea of teaching basic math concepts to young kids - or at least familiarizing them. We have enough The Ciw Says Moo type books. This whole series is brilliant. Imagine getting a roomful of first graders who weren’t at all shy of math.

Fun introduction to math
I love this little book! It’s a bright, bold, engaging board book. It’s math on three levels. First, a very basic introduction to 26 math concepts - one for each letter of the alphabet. Then there are two more levels of explanation, each a little more involved. I love that kids can explore and be exposed to math so that it is and can continue to be approachable. I’m a high school math teacher and this is my go to baby gift!

Good maths book. Got it as a present for a baby shower. Upon reading the book before wrapping it, some of the concepts it introduces is probably a bit much for a newborn (and probably not super understandable even for 5 year olds!).

Esta serie de libros está hermosa, aunque este lo siento apto para niños más grandes, no para bebés, así que tocará guardarlo un tiempo.

Great book, explaining math in three difficulty levels. Easy to understand and to explain to a little one.

Perfeito e lindo.
