CIPA 18000 Universal Oblong Chrome Car Side Mirror

I ordered two of these mirrors for an old truck. I wanted something with an OEM look, but inexpensive. These mirrors installed easily with just a screwdriver using existing holes in the doors, looked great, and provided a bright image. People actually commented on how good the mirrors looked and were surprised to learn they were not metal. These mirrors are a great value. I was very happy with this purchase.

Yes, you get what you pay for. But the previous owner took the originals off, thought the 1970 mustang looked cool without them...but you can't drive without side mirrors, not in today's world. Yes, they are plastic, but they work. When I get enough cash for OEM replacements - gee that will be a few years down the road.

These mirrors are nice but they are plastic therefore only 4 stars, but I knew they were when I ordered them. They make my 68 mustang look much better and after adding a right side mirror it is much easier to drive. There easy to instal all hardware is there they stay where ya adjust them even when slamming the door so i would recomend these but dint expect the best look and high quality if you like me and have a daily driver thats a project car these are great tho.

Product is supposedly universal in use for both the driver and passenger sides, but it's not. Works great on the drivers side, but on the passenger side, not so much. The fitting on bracket is okay, but since the swivel radius for the mirror itself is poor, you don't get a clear line of sight. In order for me to see anything with the passenger side mirror, I have to turn it sideways (long up and down instead of across) and I still need to lean back over the passenger seat to see. It clearly is a good buy for the price, but I think I'm going to have to purchase a different set sooner than later.

I needed a replacement mirror for my 64 Ford Galaxie and decided on this. This car never had a passenger side mirror so I bought another to add to that side. They are surprisingly nice for plastic mirrors and they look great on the car. I'd buy these again for a driver quality mirror.

I'd give these clowns a half start rating if I could. It's cheap plastic mirror! Looks like a chrome mirror, but it's molded plastic, now why don't they mention that anywhere in the product info? Probably because they'd rather you think it's chrome and buy it and then find out when it arrives it's just a piece of cheap plastic! Whatever, at least it arrived.

I don't care if the frame is plastic. For the money you can't beat it. Infact I put 2 on my 1956 Fury show car. Very universal and easy to ajust. It has a tension screw in the back to make it just the right resistence. The hardest part was fiqureing out where to mount them for the best visability. Oh forgot the center hole on the gasket was not lined up with the mirror. Drilled a new one. No problem.

These are very similar to my original GM mirrors. They are plastic but for the price they work great. The mirror does move very easily unless tightened down. I set my mirrors and tightened all the hardware so they can’t move. If you move the mirror to adjust again, they are a pain to get tightened back up.
