Easy to make
This is not for beginner's. Looks beautiful when done but very intricate. Made a great gift and enjoyed making

Beautiful result!
The media could not be loaded. Yup, I did customize this too! I made this for my son, who loves foxes. This turned out so nice that I couldn't believe! Well the original kit is nice and easy enough, but it has room for mistakes and breaking things. But be patient and make it yours, then you will love it 😊

Difficult to assemble
This is the hardest of any book nook/ small room I've ever put together. You must have superglue / fast setting glue to put this together. Some of the instructions took a bit to figure out. Its cute, but be ready for some work

Disappointed
I was really excited to create this book nook, but when I got it I was gutted. The decals are not stickers and are not even perforated. They are just sheets of paper that I am going to have to cut out with an exacto-knife and then glue down. They are really tiny and there are dozens of them and once you cut them out there are no numbers on them so I will lose track of which one is which. There are many that are only a few millimeters in size (about a quarter of the size of my pinky nail or smaller) and have tiny holes within the decal that are going to be insanely hard to cut out nicely. The quality of the materials is really cheap and the instructions are hard to follow. The pages are huge and come all folded up. I do not have a table big enough to lay out the instructions, lay out the decal pages, and have a work space to put it all together. I can' use the floor because I have a dog. I wish I had returned it right away but I tried to make it work because I was so excited to put it together. It is now in a box waiting for the day that I have a larger table and many hours of patience to painstakingly cut out each decal and glue it down and then cut out the next. Don't waste your money.

Bare minimum kit
Not a typical kit. Not designed for user convenience. Instruction not in English.Every printed details are printed on a regular paper without being precut. You have to manually cut every little piece (including small holes) and glue them to wooden pieces.None of the pieces are typical snap/click-in. You have to glue them. Regular glue won't do. I had to use wood glue.

Cute but tedious and poor instructions
This is a cute idea but leaves much to be desired. The package arrived crushed from international shipping, but the items were okay. The instructions are in poorly translated English and they definitely don't hold your hand. You need to infer sometimes from the pictures what the next step is. Some parts are in other bags and you have to search for them. Some cutouts are so tiny, even a scalpel can't get all the holes. (I ended up painting the trees to save my sanity.) Some parts are very tiny. Definitely not for kids, those with poor eyesight, or anyone who isn't patient. Also they don't tell you what batteries to use. (LR44) Recommended tools: regular glue, hot glue, tweezers, scalpel, scissors, q-tips, hot tea, and aromatherapy.

I wasn’t ready
I am a beginner at this sort of thing, and managed to gut through it. The biggest disappointment was finally assembling the project to completion and the lights would not work. I tried direct connecting to the battery and as the instructions indicated - no go.The book nook is now just a dark, decorated box. I might have to find individual lights that work independently. This kit needs a better quality light assembly, I’m not an electrician and wasted 12 hours putting what I thought would be an awesome gift together for nothing.
