How do you use it for eyesight improvement. how close to my eye do i hold it? do i look right into it?

If you go online, you will find articles that address this question and tell/show you what to do. I look right into it, and others I've discussed this with online do also. Between 8-9AM, and for me I do it 3X a week, I do each eye for 3 minutes. I have only used it a short time, so I can't give a report yet, but It does feel good to do it.

Can the brightness level be adjusted? I'm concerned that this light may be too bright to look at.

The brightness cannot be adjusted, but the farther away you hold it, the lower the energy at the target will be. You can also add a diffuser to reduce the energy. You can purchase a diffuser, or look into scotch tape or teflon tape as an option. Search "diffuser vs scotch tape" online.

Dont waste your money

Bought this torch specifically because of its Red 670 nanometer output. Worked ok for few times but now shines standard yellow out put on either setting 1or2. Very dissappointing complete waste of money. Would give no star rating but have give it 1star to allow the review to proceed
