This blanket is made with polyester fleece and acrylic yarn. It is machine washable in cold water. Tip: Add fabric softener in the rinse water, this will keep your fleece soft and fluffy. My blankets are made in a smoke free house. However, I do have cats and apologize in advance if I miss a stray hair or two on a blanket. I strongly suggest washing before the first use just in case of allergies. This blanket Iis ready to ship.
