I wanted a wetsuit. This is not a wetsuit. This is a jacket. The neoprene is thin and is only the front and back. The sleeves and side of the jacket is a thin (thinner than swim suit fabric) nylon print. On the shorts that go with this jacket, and also on the vest, this thin nylon fabric is laid over the neoprene - but that is not the case with this jacket. So if you want a cute jacket for running or to avoid sunburn, this is adorable. Sizing is somewhat large also. I ordered a large and its a loose large. The sleeves are loose in that thin stretchy nylon. Then the jacket body fits loose also because the sides are the thin stretchy fabric. So if you even wanted to try and use this in cold water, it won't work for that - but order a size down in that case.

I love this jacket. I attend an aqua aerobics class 7 days a week in Northern CA in an outdoor pool. This has become my daily jacket.It keeps my core warm and allows my arms more flexibility for exercise than my heavier neoprene jackets. It is basically a neoprene vest with rash guard sleeves. Several of my classmates have copied my trend and we look like we have a uniform! The product quality is excellent. I have been wearing it daily for over 6 weeks and it looks and feels new. Another bonus feature is a drawstring at the bottom hem and it works well keeping the jacket in place during strenuous exercise. No tugging to return it to place after “jumping for joy”!

I am very happy with this purchase. My older one-piece wetsuit was getting too tight, and aside from that, I always had to find a willing victim to help extract my arms from it. I was getting tired of looking like a seal floundering on the shore in hopes of rescue, so I decided to try a mix-n-match two piece. I carefully agonized over the sizing chart (be sure to click on the picture in the style that you choose because there are differences) and set about getting my key measurements of hip, waist and chest. I noted that the description allowed 1 inch variance in size, so starting there, I selected a wetsuit jacket (neoprene/neoprene) size based at of just a little over. If the next size up was more than an inch larger, I selected the lower size (Large) and my strategy worked perfectly and I am very very happy with the fit and the look of it. I am 5'3" and ... fuller ... around the middle. Don't judge... Slowing metabolism comes for us all. I will say that for the bottoms I chose a different brand, CtriLady, because I had more confidence in the forgiveness of their sizing chart, but with this combo I am more than ready to swim with my manatee cousins this fall and hopefully be adopted into the herd for good.

I purchased this (size small - neoprene sleeves) for waterskiing. I weigh 132-135 lbs, 65 inches tall, waist 29 inches, chest 36 inches. Sleeve length is accurate. Dry fit over top of neoprene 3 mm vest: Sleeves fit well, snug but not too tight. Waist okay but would be better if a tighter fit. Chest a little loose. Neck - very loose. I have average shoulders for a woman. I did not try this jacket in the water; however, from experience with wet suits, this will continuously let fresh cold water in the neck when under water unless you have wide shoulders. I would need this jacket to overlap at least 2 inches at the top for an acceptable fit. You just can't make a jacket to to fit both men and women. I will be returning.

Sizing on this is odd, I wear a medium or a large in most everything but ordered this in large and it was way too big as a wetsuit jacket, then ordered medium and while it fit right in some areas, it was still too big in other areas, and the sleeves seem disproportionally long. I returned both and switched to another brand, really wanted a jacket with pink in it, but this was the only one with pink and the sizing was just not proportioned correctly which is important when using it the cold waters of lake michigan.

I look at reviews and ordered a size up which was a mistake! I'm 5'4 180. And I bought an XL. It's too big in the neck, wrists, upper chest and waist. It is also longer, which if it is the right size it would be fantastic. So I'm buying a large and we'll see how that goes

Great wet suit jacket. Nice thick Neoprene that keeps me warm while water jogging in our pool after the weather has turned colder. If you're considering a wetsuit, I highly recommend getting 2 pieces instead of a jump suit. There are lots of times when I get too hot and have to take the jacket off and just wear the pants... Can't do that with a one piece. The jacket appears to be very good quality and has been laundered once on the hand wash cycle of my front loader and hung to dry inside with no problems.

Love this Layatone Wetsuit top. 3mm neoprene on body not arms. The jacket really is a 3 mm vest with long sleeve rash guard; this was perfect for scuba diving in Jamaica over bathing suit, the Sea of Cortez and Great Barrier Reef (I did wear this jacket over a short sleveve rash guard for a bit more warmth on night dives. My arms were protected from the few jelly fish encounters and not having the full 3mm neoprene on the sleeves made swimming and picture taking a breeze.

Grandeur parfaite. Assez chaud pour le début automne mais penser mettre un autre chandail dessous, un peu déçue des manches en nylon, je croyais que c'était une veste en totalité fait de néoprène, mais elle convient parfaitement.

I own a beachfront hotel, and as such take guests snorkelling every day. This neoprene jacket is comfortable and light, and keeps my core warm, even after 3 hours. it is so easy to get on and off too, because of the zipper.It dries quickly too. Highly recommend.

Went snorkling and swimming in the Caribbean, it helped keep my wife comfortable in the water
