Better than citadel.
Been painting warhammer for years now and I've always used the citadel primer, but this time I decided to use the army painter one as it is a much better price. It definitely looks and feels better, no splotches or spots with uneven cover, and it doesn't leave weird little bumps that sometimes happened when using citadel sprays, overall would 100% recommend for any warhammer painters

Amazing
Best primer I have used for miniature figures. Would definitely recommend. Full coverage, easy to use , nozzle is great for accuracy.

Works an absolute treat!
Been changing from citadel to army painter and was very impressed on the finish and spread compared to what I was used to using, couldn’t recommend enough.

Good primer
Like all army painter products this is a quality line. It goes on smoothly and gives excellent coverage. Works well as a primer for speed paints and normal paints. Cheaper than other big brands. All in all a winner.

Really good primer. Dries very quickly and evenly.

Nozzle blocked within 10-seconds of first use - useless!
Despite vigorous shaking for 2-minutes, having stored the can upside down in a warm room overnight, the nozzle blocked with in 10-seconds of first use. After cleaning and trying again, the same result occurred. Do not waste your money on these Army Painter sprays - they are woefully inferior to the likes of Colour Forge and Citadel products.

I am pleased with the completed 12th scale dolls house models.
The media could not be loaded. I was pleased to try this 'The Army Painter Colour Primer Brainmatter Beige, 400 mL Acrylic Spray Primer, Spray Paint for Miniature Priming Basecoat, Tabletop Roleplaying, Boardgames, and Wargames Miniature Modelling'.1. You get a big can containing 400ml of this matt 'Brainmattrer Beige' paint. The top is a safety type where you have to prise apart the ring and the main cap to get it off.2. The colour is not what I would call beige. To my mind it is a very pale stone or dull ivory colour and perfect for decorating some of my metal dolls house models.3. You shake the can for 1 minute. I put my models in the base of a big box lined with paper and did the spraying out in the garden because it creates a cloud of fine spray in the box and over the top while you spray. The idea is to make sweeping passes over the models to coat evenly. Mine needed a few thin coats, although the paint is highly pigmented - probably because it was a light colour over a darker base. I touched up with a little on a brush. It dried nice and quickly. Like most aerosols, the can does not like spraying upside down to get at the sides very well. In fact, it suggests that at the end of your spraying session you turn the can upside down and empty the nozzle of any remaining paint by spraying until you get just the gas. I presume this is to prevent a blockage next time.4. Although this is an acrylic paint it must have some oil base in it because it did not wash off my brush with soap and water. It was very gloopy and oily.5. I am pleased with the completed 12th scale 'stonewear' kitchen bowls and utensils and my little Scottie dog.6. The current price of £11.99 is fair, in my opinion, for the quality and amount of paint you get.

Fantastic for custom figures on plastic
This is the best primer IMO for doing custom Star Wars figures. It’s important to wash the plastic thoroughly to remove excess grease/dirt. This primer allows acrylic paints to be applied smoothly. Follow the directions and shake well for two minutes before applying.

Perfecto
