Modular Ignition Coil Female Connector Plug Wire Harness Pigtail (8Pcs)

I bought these ignition coil pigtail connectors for my Crown Vic after the old ones started cracking and causing intermittent misfires. These connectors were an exact match – they snapped right into place on the ignition coils and felt secure. The wire length was just right, and the quality of the materials seems solid, not cheap or brittle. Installation was straightforward – just snipped the old connectors, soldered these in, and heat-shrinked the connections. If you’re not comfortable with wiring, I’d recommend having a mechanic do it, but for DIYers, it’s a very doable job. After swapping out all 8, my engine is running smoother, no more hesitation or codes. Honestly, I wish I had done this sooner. One of the clips from a connector broke on my truck, and it was causing a misfire. Spliced the new connector in and problem fixed. I did have to replace the spark plug for that cylinder due to the misfires, but the connector did exactly what I needed it to do.

Worked as advertised. They seem to be of decent quality and fit the coils snug and with good click when they engage. They soldered in well. No complaints.

The wires are a little short, but the plug end fits exactly. Depending on where the wire failure is, it should work to get a good connection to the coil pack without too much trouble. USE SOLDER AND HEAT SHRINK when you install these. It provides a better connection and keeps water and other fluids from contaminating the splice. I have a 1999 F150 5.4 Triton Engine, and these Connectors are a must have to replace the Connectors going to the coil packs because after years of engine heat they WILL BREAK! And will cause MISFIRES because the Connectors work loose from the Coil Packs. The Engineers from Ford should be Unemployed and forced into poverty for coming up with this coil design on these engines, they are designed to fail. I just used the new Connector Housing and pulled wires out of it and put the wires from truck back into the new Connector, go on YouTube and you will see it is easier than cutting and soldering. Much faster and easier. You will need this eventually.
