Nicely made, bendable to play around with or fit around other items, different sizes to choose from, which was great since I have larger corner cages. I got 3 of the 41in and couldn't be more happier with my purchase. Rope perches add different texture and comfort to birds feet and are a great replacer for the wooden dowels that come with cages.

I found a poor little, well I wasn't sure what it was covered in MILLIONS of tiny black ants by my gravel road but my little Pomeranian found it, barking at it insistent I come see what she found and from there I grabbed it, got a squirt bottle full of water to removed the MILLIONS of ants from it and myself only to discover it was a little tiny almost no feathers bird, had no idea until recently what type of Bird it was but it's definitely a little Robin because it's getting Orange Feathers on it's chest. I really didn't think it would survive. The poor little thing has NO BALANCE and can't stand up without falling over, I suspect it received severe neurological damage from MILLIONS of ant bites. I feel so bad for the poor little thing I had hoped getting it some ropes to stand on inside it's cage would help and sure enough it has helped alot so the little fella can stand up and hold on with it's toes better than on the wooden branch type in it's cage. I have it really low in a HUGE Cage that I use as a back up for my Sun Conures. I had hoped to release it back with it's family that lives here at my house, I feed TONS of birds and several Robins hang out all year long but I fear it won't ever be able to be released because it has no balance and when it attempts to fly the little thing just goes about 4' and falls straight out of the air, so back in it's cage it goes so the cats don't get it. THANK YOU for making this item for my little fella and making it possible for him/her to at least stand up by holding on with it's toes to the rope without falling. It is a superior quality rope as I have several from the Pet Shoppe in my Conures Cage but this is by far the best quality all the way around from the ends being really secure to the rope itself!!

I like the perch itself, though other buyers should be mindful of how they will mount it. I put it in a big macaw cage with bars farther apart than the included washers can reach, so I had to fashion bigger "washers" out of wood that fit the bars. The screw attached to the perch isn't much longer than the washers can accommodate, so I had to use thin wood and I'm not sure how long it will last. It will work fine in cages with narrow enough bars, but might require some engineering for other cages.

I love this rope perch. It came very neat and not damaged. The assembly and insulation was very easy. The connector piece to the cage is very sturdy and strong. The rope can be twisted to any shape or way you want it and when my birds are on it, it doesn't move and stays the way it was set. Also it is very easy to clean, It is very safe for my birds and not dangerous for chocking. My bird always spend there outside the cage time on it and love it. Overall this is a great safe product for your birds.

I've bought this same perch 5 times over the past 5 years. A year for a rope perch with an African Gray parrot is a pretty fantastic run in my opinion! And for $5! However, the last time I bought this perch - Feb. 28, 2024, it seemed different - cheaper, worse quality, not the same. Unfortunately I had already tossed the old one so I couldn't do a comparison. Tonight, I went to put my birds to bed and found that one end of the perch had dislodged from the housing that connected it to the cage, leaving the perch dangling. It looked like the two pieces were merely hot glued together, so, I tried to do a quick hot glue repair to hold the perch together for the night until I could get a new one tomorrow, but - no luck! I made two attempts at fixing the separated part of the perch, got it attached to the cage when the other side released from it's housing. Ultimately, I decided against using hot glue to repair something in my bird's cage and threw the whole thing away. I had an old wooden perch that I installed in the meantime, but I will not be reordering from this company. To go from a one year run with their products to just over a month is not worth my money, even it's only $5. From now on, I'll be looking for higher quality, American-made products for my birds.
