Clic Magnetic Reading Glasses for Men or Women, Computer Readers, Original (Small-Medium Size)

We’ve been buying this repeatedly for years now. I originally got these as a birthday present for my husband and he thought they looked dumb, so he put them aside for a few months. At that time he was using a small pair of fold up readers he kept in a case in his pocket. He was working in his garage one day and had forgotten his readers in the house, saw these sitting there, and put them on. Well that’s all it took and he’s been wearing and using them all day, every day, for years now. People always comment on them and ask to try them. Then they want to know where they can get them! He truly won’t do without them now. Highly recommend!

My sweet husband loves these glasses, in fact when he lost a pair we had to go online and order another right away. They are so convenient and the style is very modern and sleek.

I went looking for these because a friend of mine had them. He wore them around his neck most of the time. They sure looked more handy than the old eyeglass chains the ladies used to wear because it wouldn't hang down and get in your way all the time. He was a plumber and I quickly realized that glasses like these would enable to keep your reading glasses nearby AND out of the way as you worked so that you could grab them just for the occasional thing. For a long time, I haven't needed my glasses often enough while working (generally home repairs, projects, etc) to not just lay a pair nearby (I have them all over the house!), but now that isn't working very well. I leave my glasses with my pencil and tape measure and go to cut the thing, or screw it down--and need the glasses there too! But then I need them back off of me for the 'big picture.' I remembered my friend's glasses and came for a pair. I liked the look of the clear ones, but didn't think about how prominent the magnet would be in clear ones! My friend's were solid colored, and looked like regular glasses when they were on. So I dropped a star for that. I wouldn't have dropped it if they had put a full front pic, but they didn't put one that you could see the magnet in, only one at a little distance on the model. It might not bother some people, but I would have preferred to not see the magnet.That's my only complaint. Well, I wouldn't have gotten clear at all if they'd had a solid color I liked better . . . so I guess there's that too. But they are GREAT to use. I can just wear them around my neck and they're out of my way, and when they're needed, snap them onto my face. The strap that keeps them around my neck then functions as a band to help keep them on my face when I bend over while using them. My old ones that fit well didn't fall either usually, but when they did, they fell into my work--or under it, or whatever.These are too pricey for two pair on my budget, I wish I could just grab a second pair. And I'd like a pair of orange ones like my friend had . . . or neon green . . .

In March of 2021, I purchased these glasses after I saw a friend wearing them. I was really tired of running to the store during my lunch break to buy another cheap pair of glasses on the spinny rack. One after another, they would fly off my head and break in pieces, or they would get stepped on or just randomly break. When I ordered this product, I never knew I would never have to return to that spinny rack until now. Almost 4 years later, they broke last night. Years of abuse, years of falling to the ground and sitting on them and now I must say goodbye. Right before I went to bed last night, I took them off my neck and they broke in half. I couldn't even be mad about it; it was like an old dog that took himself into the woods to pass away. Still looking brand new, I set them down on my nightstand like I always do and told myself I would deal with the loss in the morning. Here I am, sitting at my computer after dusting my drugstore glasses off writing this review. Unfortunately, these will have to do for now. I spent way too much money on other people over the holidays and bills are pouring in. Maybe one day I will have a new clicky friend. If you are considering purchasing these, I obviously recommend them. These have probably saved me hundreds of dollars over the years. Be prepared for comments and questions about them from people that have never seen them before. Also be prepared for them to pick up random objects with the magnets. It makes a good party trick. Guess I will run to the DG and grab a few cheap ones for now that have awful colors and designs. Thanks for the great product and years of vision. I will be back to buy a new friend..someday.

I can see with them, never misplace them, but they are way too big for my average size head. when I lean back against my chair they fall off mu nose. That defeats the purpose of readers if they don't stay on your face...
