it's not bad for the price. the only problem is that it can be really hard to breath in.

I love this little hood! It is so warm and comfortable I wear it all the time at home. I even sleep in it to keep warm at night instead of the hat I used to wear. The front piece can be brought over your chin or nose so even your face won't get cold. I wore it on a day we had freezing rain and our power was out and it kept me warm then. I wear it outside in winter wind and don't feel the chill because it's protecting me! I also have curly hair and my old sleeping hat used to leave my hair all messed up but this one is made out of better material so my hair stays nice, not greasy. I can't say enough good things about this hood.

I really like this and I have a fat head I mean fat but it still fits me pretty well and looks and feels good to. I couldn’t find the mask part or get it up but I’m thinking it’s just something I’m doing wrong

Took this while a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains in TN during December. I was the only one who’s face didn’t get cold. Is a little tricky figuring out the face shield, but once I got it, it was a life saver. Went ahead and bought a second one to keep on hand.

I like the hood and scarf combo. It is a little too small for my head though, I have a big head. Its a little snug but the real issue comes from the face guard part. It comes up and just touches the tip of my nose, it doesnt cover it. Thats the only real bummer of it. the material is warm and soft. The hood can be cinched up, but as it was tight on me, I didnt feel the need. If it just had a little more in the length of the hood and the face guard it would be perfect for cold snowy days. I will probably keep it, but will hove to see if it is just too uncomfortable to wear because of the tightness.

Keeps the wind from your face and it keeps your warm. The hood seems to be a big big so there are times U have to adjust it so I can see other than that it does what I want it to do

SO glad I bought this bc this past week it was -30° with the windchill here and I had to go outside to blow snow and this kept my ears and head so warm thabk God I had it bc it would have been impossible w/out it also I like the fact that it actually stayed on my face so I stayed warm and toasty!! I'm buying another one also!!

This hood/snood is made of heavy, soft, and really warm fleece. It works great! One con (this isn't necessarily a con; it may actually work to your advantage): it's really big! To give you some idea: I'm only 5'3", so I'm pretty small, and the hood wraps all the way around my head and tucks under my chin, touching my kneck. But the size does seem to make it warmer and more comfortable, so unless you're extremely fashion-conscious this is probably a pro. If you ARE extremely fashion-conscious, then you can wear it all compressed down around your kneck like a scarf when in a crowded public place, and it'll still keep your kneck and lower face warm. This product is so effective that I'm considering ordering a few more to give to homeless people that I see in town; they need all the warmth they can get now that it's getting colder.

Bought it because it looked quite cool as a face mask on the lady featured in the advertisement, however, when it arrived it turned out to be shapeles and baggy whilst at the same time being too small if you wanted to have the face cover up. You had to have the bottom of the hood level with your chin instead of resting where it should on the lower part of your neck, and the face cover part was so baggy with no means of adjusting, it just sort of flopped about around my mouth. Very disappointed, hence it was swiftly returned for a full refund.

I enjoy clothes made from nice soft fleece and this balaclava is made of a very thick fleece. I ordered black colour as that seems to go with most of my clothes. I wanted to wear it for few days before writing a review.If you need something to keep you warm this is it - The drawstring round the face area will pull tight so this keeps wind and rain away totally and the nice extension of the neck part covered face half way - I put it on so only my eyes were showing and it was very warm. I loved the feel of it on my neck - really warm.It seems to be rather big in size - it's a shame there is no choice in sizes. I would definitely recommend it for someone with larger head hence 4 stars instead of 5 as my head seems small. It's ok if you like your clothes fitting loose.I've also used it to sleep in it - I've been looking for a sleep hat and when this fits so loosely and comfortably I thought I try and I must admit it was lovely - something about being surrounded by warmth all over seems to work wonder for my sleep. Apparently we loose lots of heat through out head - I remember watching old movies with people wearing funny hats for sleeping and it actually works.I got a slight discount in return for an honest an unbiased review.

I am very pleased with this product!It's perfect for cold days as the material is thick and soft, however not too thick which means that you won't overheat! I was worried that the material would rub against my face and cause soreness (as I have sensitive skin) but I was pleasantly surprised! The material stays in place and doesn't cause me any irritation. The hood is large with room, which I found pleasant as is can be a loose fit or you can tighten it with the strings. The part that covers your face is a breathable material, but I found that it's a little looser than I would have preferred.The product itself is very versatile. You can wear it with or without a hood, and the part that covers your face can be pulled down. This is very helpful as it can be adjusted to suit the temperature.I find that this item is perfect for wearing around the house or when I am taking a nap, yet it can be worn easily outside. I ordered the black one and I find that this blends well with a lot of my clothes. I am definitely impressed with this as I do not want any attention drawn to me, and the subtlety of this product allows me to stay incognito throughout the day!I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

This was a second order, for my husband, after he tried my one. We both love it. Somewhat large, but to pull it over the head it can only be that! Also the space inside creates the insulation, the fabric is good, soft but not floppy, so its thumbs up from us both
