Pasta was delicious and tender. Good pasta for the cost. Really nice color and texture.

So I had never had squid ink pasta but every year I do a Halloween themed dinner. This year was Beetlejuice so I wanted to find black pasta. After asking friends if they'd ever had it, their opinion was it's very briney (seafood strong) so pair it with a seafood dish. I did a non traditional shrimp scampi. The package was well sealed in an air tight wrap, up on opening it had a strong seafood smell. The pasta so on the thin side (think angel hair) and very tacky. Once cooked however the seafood taste practically disappeared. It fed the three of us (adult and two kids) just fine but any more than that I'd suggest two packages.

This was my first experience cooking black pasta with seafood. I love this ,tast very good. Small box and enough for 3 people if not make big portion

Kindof bugie, but if you want creepy pasta for your dinner party, look no further! Taste just like normal pasta, so no strange flavor due to the Color, just black, extremely black pasta.

This is my first time having Black Hut Squid Ink Pasta, Skinny Capellini, Natural Ingredients, Spaghetti Contains Molluscs, Wheat, 17.6oz/ 500g. It is pretty expensive at $20 for a pack of two, for a total weight of 17.6 oz. It is very similar to the narrow and thin spaghetti that I normally get, except this is squid ink which is black. The taste is slightly different, but definitely interesting. Cooking it is the same way, just bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then cook these wooden capellini in boiling water to Al dente, about 45 to 60 seconds only, which is shorter than the store-bought spaghetti I usually get. Then add any type of pasta sauce, in this case we just use spaghetti sauce, garnish and served hot.

This was a tasty pasta which arrived in good condition. I actually served this to a bunch of kids with garlic and cherry tomatoes and many of them were surprised that they loved it. Squid ink flavor is subtle, but present.

Purchased for a Halloween dinner. Cooked up super fast. Didn't taste weird. Made for a great presentation
