Great Sample Size for Gift or Undecided on Preferred Scent
I recently tried the Dr. Squatch Natural Men's Bar Soap 3-pack with Summer Citrus, Birchwood Breeze, and Cool Fresh Aloe, and overall I had a great experience. I really enjoyed being able to sample different scents before deciding on a favorite. Summer Citrus was my top pick. It has a bright, clean scent that made every shower feel refreshing. Cool Fresh Aloe was a close second with its fresh, crisp fragrance. Birchwood Breeze wasn't quite for me, as I found it a little too earthy and strong, but scent is very personal, and others may enjoy it. The bars have a nice texture and feel solid and well-made. They produce a rich, creamy lather without needing a lot of soap, and they leave my skin feeling clean without feeling dried out. One thing I really appreciated was that the scents stayed noticeable throughout the life of the bars. With many soaps, the fragrance seems to fade after a few uses, but these continued to smell great every time I used them. My only complaint is that I wish the bars were a little larger because I went through my favorite scents pretty quickly. Overall, this is a high-quality soap set with great scents, excellent lather, and a refreshing shower experience. I'd definitely buy it again and would recommend it to anyone looking to try Dr. Squatch for the first time.

Love the sense
Really impressed with this bar soap. It has a great scent that smells fresh without being overpowering, and it leaves my skin feeling clean without drying it out. It lathers up nicely and the bar holds up well with regular use. I also like the natural ingredients. Dr. Squatch makes a quality soap, and I would definitely buy this again.

Fantastic soaps, and scents
Excellent soap. The mild grit is perfect for exfoliating after a long hot work day, any day actually. Love the scents, very nice fragrances. Give it a try. Im glad I did.

Good for an organic soap, but you need to be okay with the tradeoffs
TL;DR - Good organic soap. It has tradeoffs as most naturals soaps do with longevity. One improvement would be to have a measure like the grit measure but for amount of suds. However, I will no longer use this product as the tradeoffs no longer work for me. I have been using Dr. Squatch for about a year and a half at the time of this review. I started with this variety pack and then ordered directly from Dr. Squatch. If you are reading this, you already know the product. The main advertising benefits that mention are: * Organic soap * Makes skin soft * Great scents Non-organic soaps are engineered for not burning your eyes, lasting long, reducing soap scum, foaming up a lot, etc.. However, they are usually viewed as detergents which can be harmful to your skin. Dr. Squatch is obviously organic. That means if you get it into your eyes, it will sting. The foaming/suds, will vary depending on the bar. Some bars sud up really well, some of them do not. Makes skin soft. If you saw the infomercial, you saw a female actress touch the skin of the male actor and comment on how soft his skin felt. I have been married to my wife for 20 years. She notices every little detail/change with me. While using this soap, she never mentioned my skin was so soft. Did the soap soften my skin? Yes, a little and I noticed but it wasn't as big of a change as the infomercial makes it seem. Great scents. The infomercial also has the same female actress comment on the male actor's scent which is supposedly from the soap. The soap does not leave a lasting scent. If have a bunch of expensive colognes, they will not be replaced by $7 bar of soap. The soap scent will basically be gone just after you dry off from your shower. Soap scum. Depending on your shower type, it will leave a lot of soap scum. The darker the soap colors, the more you will need to clean your shower. There are photos post here on Amazon showing the Pine Tar shop running all over showers. If you have a fiberglass shower enclosure, you will need to clean your shower daily when using the darker soaps. The lighter soaps also collect shower scum but it's harder to see but still will require regular cleaning. On a fiberglass shower, using Pine Tar will make it look like someone dumped their coals in your shower after you are done. Soap savers. With any organic soap, a soap saver is a must. Once the soap is used, it should be in a space to get air to dry out quickly and away from water. You do not need the one from Dr. Squatch. Any $2-3 soap saver from your local store will do just fine. It's where you put it that matters more. How I used the soap: When the soaps arrived, I would cut each soap into halves. I would use one half at a time. I averaged about 1.5-2 weeks per half depending on the soap. Some soaps were softer, like the grit ones, and would wear quicker. Some didn't produce as much suds so they lasted a bit longer. The high grit soaps last the shortest and you will get 1 week or less per half. Unless the soap was a grit soap, I did not rub the soap directly on my skin. I am a wash cloth person, so the soap would only go against a wash cloth. With using half at a time, it would get about 3 weeks for a full bar. All this being said, I will not be continuing with the soap after this batch is done. The amount of soap scum and how quickly it accumulates in my shower enclosure is no longer worth it. I do not know if the build up would be better managed on a tiled shower, but that may make the soap scum less of a problem.

Best soap ever!
Loving the mountain meadow scent! Smells so good. Really can't go wrong with any of them though. The medium grit is where it's at.....perfect for exfoliating! Everyone in our family uses this soap. Amazing quality!

Great soap, not great scents
I love Dr. Squatch but these specific scents are nauseating. The lumberjack lodge woody/walnut smell is sickeningly strong and cloying. The sandalwood one is also really harsh. I’d recommend literally any of their scents over these ones.

HANDS FEELS SO SOFT AND CLEAN COMES WITH A BONUS
I SAW THIS ON A YOUTUBE SHOW 'STEAK AND BUTTER GAL' AND HAD TO TRY IT. REAL SOAP! NO CHEMICALS, PREFUMNS, ONLY CLEAN INGRDIANTS. MAKES MY HANDS HAPPY. SO MANY ESTENTIAL OILS OPTIONS TO PICK FROM. HUBBY LIKED BOURBON, NO SURPRIZE THERE. FOR ME ALOE. BETTER THAN AIR FRESHENERS WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE BATHROOM OR KITCHEN. LONG LASTING SOAP THAT DOES MORE THN I CAN ASK FOR. BEST SOAP EVERY. BONUS - THIS SOAP ALSO CLEANS MY EYE GLASSES BETER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE TRIED BEFORE. FAMILY RECOMMENDED.

The "Little is a lot" bar of soap
This is the first soap that doesn't leave my forehead dry after shower. This is actually a great bar of soap hands down. I've seen people complain about the quick dissipation of the bar and I think that comes down to over lathering the bar IMO. You do not need to constantly lather up like a normal bar of soap. For example, I'll take the bar and lather up my wash rag and use the rag to rub the soap across my body and have noticed that there is significant amount that I'm just washing down the shower drain. It only take a small amount of lather unlike the corporate soaps. So the quick dissipation has to do with using the bar far too much. Like the old saying, "a little is a lot" pertains to this soap. Frankly I'm a guy and most guys don't post about their soap habits but I really like this soap and I think some guys will like this stuff as well. Not too mention the various scents. Great stuff and from what I understand they are a smaller business that makes this which is a plus in my book. Great soap, really! Lol!!! Crazy, I know. The fact I'm writing a product review of soap. But it is the best stuff I have found for myself anyway.

Pine tar is the best one
Once you try the pine tar bath bar, you will find all other soaps seriously underwhelming. Your body feels so clean and smells really outdoorsy.
