I bought this because after a year my Steam Deck charger was going faulty. I had tried other chargers but they charged slower than the battery drained. After asking Steam support and them telling me I need a 45w charger I ordered this one. It works perfect! Ordered another so I could have one upstairs and one down for both my phone and Steam deck and ended up needing a third for my mum's phone as she found out it charged her phone way faster than her charger and ended up constantly borrowing it! Would recommend for Steam Deck. Charges my phone faster than my other "fast charger" even though they are both advertised as supporting fast charging.

I would NOT recommend buying this as a replacement plug. My son was plugging in his steam deck to charge, and noticed that it wasn’t charging. He unplugged it, and plugged it back in. Still wasn’t charging. So he tried it in a different plug socket. As soon as he plugged it in, the whole plug exploded! He just about jumped back quickly so he wasn’t hurt but if he didn’t, there would have been some serious injury….upon closer inspection it looks like one of the capacitors has blown. It was that forceful, it blew the plug clean away from the plastic…and it has burned the side of my sons bed… absolutely disgraceful manufacturing!! Will be raising HUGE complaints with Amazon! AVOID!!
