This book is going to be very helpful in preparing me to take the LCSW examination. The book also increases my confidence in taking the examination.

I have been considering returning to school to become a social worker and wanted to educate myself on the subject matter for the exam. I am not sure how many of the questions will be on the exam, if any, but I appreciate the amount of questions included and the detailed descriptions included. I feel I learned a lot by going through this book. I am not sure if it is the career path I will he taking, but I feel better informed now and ready to explore options further.

It was a very helpful refresher course. Test were helpful as well to prep for exam.

I will update once I take the test to see how much this actually helped, but there are obvious typos and issues in the book. Some questions have the same answer twice. Some don’t make sense. It’s still helpful but I wouldn’t rely solely on this.Edit: I passed :) so I do think it helped but I would use other study sources as well.

I haven't started studying it in detail yet, but it has sample test questions, which are helpful. Some of the review is very brief, but I think it is a good start to review for LCSW test. Good price also
