So far this product does NOT support Netflix, which is a big deal to me. The Android version is 6.0.1 with security from a year ago... I was able to load Hulu, VLC, and Kodi on the device, and if I wanted to put in the work I could make Kodi run Netflix. I don't though, mainly because the product detail says the device ran Netflix. The sound quality isn't all that bad... It would a nice little device if it worked as advertised.

I backed this on Indiegogo. Before I received it I purchased an Amazon Echo Show and was enjoying it until Google pulled youtube support on it. So when I received the Clazio I was pretty excited that I would have Alexa and YouTube on the same device again. However, this device will be a huge disappointment for anyone who loves the Echo as much as I do. Alexa support is done through an app called Reverb. Instead of simply saying Alexa as a wake word (it does have more wake words than a regular Echo), you say "OK Alexa". Anyway, to get down to what I really think about the Clazio, it isn't worth the money I paid for it. The user interface is terrible, it is often slow to respond, The back button is on the left instead of the Android standard being on the right. The buttons need an initial tap to get them to appear. I do like that it has a bunch of connectors (HDMI, USB, Line Out) and it has a MicroSD card slot. I was able to use the HDMI a bit until I accidentally set the wrong resolution and now I'm unable to use it because the main screen turns off when you switch to HDMI. So not being able to see anything on my monitor and on the built-in screen means I'm lucky to even be able to switch HDMI off. While the HDMI was working I couldn't do much because the built-in touch screen remains the only input method and since it is now off I'm left guessing where to tap to get it to do anything. Maybe this thing will end up being sold at a huge discount because of all the problems with it. So till then, save your money and buy an Echo Show instead.

I purchased this on indigogo as an early adopter. The unit was very laggy and I was not happy with it. After less than a year it failed. I was heading overseas and didn't get a chance to put in a claim before I left. I contacted the company and they said that it was out of warranty but I could purchase their new product (with no discount). Poor customer service to go along with a poor product. Avoid their products at all costs.
