Bedtime story book at its best
One of the two nightly bedtime stories we read. Letter “T” is always a hit with questions of why would he paint his face orange and laughing hysterically. If only it was written after Covid and “V” could have been for vaccinations. Fun way to learn the alphabet!!

Really fun, though not quite fiction :)
During a time when the general news is scary, it's nice to be able to smile at a book that is not quite fiction. (Zombies aren't real, right?) Each page of this clever tale has an inset image of the reader's expressive reaction to the horrors on the page; and they are eerily familiar to what I probably look like when I read/hear the daily news. The words and artistry are impressive. A great gift!

We loved this morbidly funny book
We loved this morbidly funny book. I bought copies for my kids and told my son to show it to my 8 and 11 year old grand kids but not the 4 year old. I loved the cartoons and the facial expressions of the characters. It is a weird mix of what we really should be afraid of and what things just lie deep in our imaginations.

face your worries with a laugh
This is a dark, grisly, poetically expressed book, with illustrations that make you laugh and cry. Really a fun book to send to worried friends on their birthdays, vegans and other people who are trying to save their bodies or the planet, anyone who thinks the world is worse than it used to be, but probably not to sensitive children.

Love it!
Lost a star for the anti-trump page.

funny
I love these alphabet books! Funny and fun. Obviously, not a children's book.

Hysterical
This book is fantastic. I went to an author reading for it, and the author ran us through the whole book. It was hysterical. I ended up giving it to my friend Rob for a birthday present and he loved it!

Not for young kids, very entertaining
This book is not for young kids but definitely for adults...we realized that after first couple pages! Great for teens or adults
