I use this for smoking brisket in my BGE. I thought I needed the ceramic one but turns out this works great.

Great stone alternative
My stone cracked over time and finally broke. I decided to buy the cast iron alternative and this one fits perfectly. It is very heavy compared to the stone but not as fragile. Should last longer than the egg itself.
