A 1940s Monadnock Childhood

Father in law just bought a cabin near Mt. Monadnock, and he loves history books, so I got this for father's day. When he's done reading it, I'll see if I can borrow it because it looks really fascinating. :-)

I was hoping for more regional history, but this is a good first hand view of life in Peterborough during the 40's. A bit armature writing that can be hard to read, but overall entertaining.
