Great Woolies
Great, thin, warm, comfortable woolies. I would by again. They pack small, wear comfortably and are very warm without being overly-warm. They are thin and fit great underneath anything.

Comfy Warmth
The only way to know if this garment is comfy, warm, non-itching and fits well is to ... wear it. I did exactly that shortly after I received it. I wore it for 3 straight days. I notice the top is pilling a little bit (what else should you expect from wool), but the top and the bottoms held up to one cycle in gentle wash. The garment instructions that came on a printed card with the piece say something a bit different from the instructions printed on the garment. For example, the card instructions say NOT to place in the dryer, but the instructions on the piece itself say "Turn inside out. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with like colors. Lay flat to dry recommended or machine dry on low heat. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean, Do not wring dry." So it seems they don't recommend using a dryer, however a fluff cycle in the dryer is the best way we know of to get pet hair off... so that's what we opt for before - or after - laying it out flat to finish dry. I do notice that the tag (which I summarized above - and have included a photo of) is likely to come off... but those tags are often a comfort nuisance. You DO need a magnifying glass to read that tag! I also notice that the pieces we received were made in China (PRC). The fit is good, comfy, and just like the top it's warm, non-itchy with no abrasive seams to irritate my skin. We all have probably had an experience of getting a garment with a tag that is so annoying that you want to rip it off ASAP - either because the tag itself is scratchy or the sewing holding the tag to the garment is obnoxious. This tag is long and thin, but not annoying. How well it will hold up to use remains to be seen... but I don't see anything that makes me think it is likely to fall apart or get threadbare easily. Indeed, the best thing I can say about this garment is that it is MORE comfortable AND warmer than the cotton long johns I have. Cotton is pretty miserable thing to have next to your skin in the cold when you sweat or it gets wet. All the pieces I've purchased so far come with a free pair of Merino socks. The socks are not very thick, but they do seem ok.

Warm
Bought these as a Christmas gift. Husband loves them, wore them all winter long and the added pair of socks were a great bonus one of his favorite pairs! Super soft, very warm. Only complaint is they get peely after washing but they are an under layer so it doesn’t matter.

Happy customer.
I've been wearing this merino wool Base Layer and it's been awesome—especially when that unexpected snowstorm hit. The 100% superfine 17.5-micron merino wool is super soft, never itchy, and doesn’t feel heavy or bulky, even after a full day out. The warmth is impressive, and I love how the wool's moisture-wicking keeps me dry and comfy no matter the conditions. The fit is just right, with no bunching or overheating, which is a big upgrade from regular cotton. The packaging was actually pretty cool, and the included merino hiking socks are a nice extra. My feet was dry by the end of the day. My only hesitation is about the care instructions—it says to hand wash and lay flat, but I’m tempted to try the washer to see how it does. I liked my Smartwool before because you could just toss it in the washer, but that was only 81% wool. Overall, I'm really happy with this one! I bought 2 more.

Just buy them
It’s actually absurd how nice these are, I’ve had them 2 weeks and literally can’t take them off. I used to use traditional long John’s and switched to poly probably 5 years ago. There’s really no reason to not go wool, they are more expensive but can be used in place of 3 or 4 poly base layers. I washed them once just because, but after wearing them for 5 days literally still smell like fresh laundry. Probably the most comfortable thing I’ve ever put on. I have the heavyweight option and they are at least on par with super heavyweight fleece base layers as far as warmth goes, but in a different universe of breathability. Didn’t understand how these reviews were so raving, but now I get it. There’s no way I could wear anything else now, it’s an item that just makes life better

Excellent comfort while keeping you warm, designed for men.
Wore these while ocean fishing in Alaska. Fantastic product. Keep me warm through three days of rainy and cold weather without hindering my movement. Most importantly it has a fly which for some reason many competitors products do not. I am 6’2” tall and weigh 208 lbs and extra large fit well.

Comfortable warmth
Heavyweight and well fitting, these became my favorites right away. I've even worn them with fleece-lined pants without the uncomfortable pulling down and bunching that happens sometimes. I guess it's true that you can't beat wool. Socks were an appreciated bonus.
